ECU remapping is an engine tuning service that lifts some of the restrictions put on a vehicles engine by the vehicle manufacturer.
Why have an ECU Remap?
Manufacturers limit the performance of engines. They do this so that their engines can use sub-standard fuels and accommodate vehicles that are not serviced on a regular basis and in accordance with their recommended guidelines. ECU Remapping removes some of these restrictions

ECU Remapping an engines ECU has no negative effect on exhaust emissions or the life of an engine.
ECU Remapping is carried out by connecting remotely to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) via the on-board diagnostics port ensures that no engine components are altered or modified in anyway.
How will ECU Remapping give me More Miles Per Gallon?
As any driver will know, MPG figures are closley related to a drivers style of driving. So while we can gurantee that you will get increased MPG figures after an ECU Remapping, the actual increase in MPG will be unique to any one particular driver.

Today's ecu re-calibration & egr delete,
A 2006 Seat Altea 2.0tdi.
unknown to the owner this vehicle already had a remap from another tuner / company but unfortunately was of poor quality and would smoke when accelerating, was also using far to much fuel and had very poor mpg.
... with a quality sports remap from #Zero260 not only did we improve the mpg of the vehicle but also vastly improved the bhp & torque in every gear through out the whole rev range.

one of this weeks remaps was on a 2006 Saab 93 wagon 2.8 Turbo which came in for a performance recalibration.
stock power 255bhp and 350nm of torque.
with a zero260 remap we was able to increase this to 307bhp and 415nm of torque.

We had 2 bmw's in today (Black) car a 330d sport Stock power 204Hp & 410Nm of torque.
With a Zero260 Performance remap we produced 249Hp and a massive 517Nm of Torque!. The customer was more than happy.
... (Silver) 2004 bmw 320d touring. Stock power 150Hp & 330nm of torque. Zero260 Performance remap the car produced a very healthy 192Hp & 415Nm of torque .
Not only did both vehicles gain horse power and big gains in torque but they also now have better fuel economy also.
