Yummy American pancakes � nice cup of tea and even American style sausages and friendly welcome. Working my way through the menu. Not today might take a while�

We stopped there in November after an overnight flight from the US to Newcastle. We were looking for a place to eat and stopped in Hexham. We almost went to the big store across the street but saw this cafe! So glad we went! The food was great, one of the owners waited on us, which was funny because we are Americans and flew all the way across the ocean and then some of the first people we met were Americans! We enjoyed our breakfast, the food was delicious! Then the owner mentioned that the Abbey right near there was well worth a visit. We went to the abbey and throughly enjoyed it! It was a very memorable experience. Our holiday was off to great start! So thank you so much, I pray you have great success in your business!!

We had an amazing lunch here while staying in the area. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Highly recommended! We will be back for breakfast on Monday before going home!!

We had a fabulous lunch at Zest Cafe this week. The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing - the chef whipped me up a tomato sauce to go with my arancini and it was beautiful! We'll definitely be back, and for pudding next time too!

The best breakfast I've ever had and amazing pancakes with it too . The owners are so friendly and chatty and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely a favourite of ours

So pleased we decided to try zest. Lovely atmosphere and the service was great. Ordered the delicious pesto chicken jacket potato it came with a good sized serving of lovely fresh home cooked chicken and pesto and side salad. I was dying to try the gorgeous looking cheese cakes but I was too full and Mam wasn't there to share lol �.

Really lovely breakfast, my only complaint about it was the black pepper on my eggs! I really don't like black pepper but every thing else was spot on. Definitely go back

Just called in for the first time for cheesecake and coffee...oh my wow! Absolutely amazing staff so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to everyone!

I only wish I hadn’t taken so long to visit! The cafe before had been awful and it put me off, it wasn’t until two foodie friends,sitting with the gorgeous dog Jazz,recommended you guys that I decided to try.

Delicious couldn’t fault a thing and the coffee was spot on which seems to be a weak spot for many cafes.

Had a zesty hand made burger with bacon and cheese, absolutely superb, couldn't fault it, chips were fresh, crisp, burger meat cooked perfectly brilliant work Nico and looking forward to our next Friday feast �

Had THE best Philly Steak sandwich for lunch here...and the chips are to die for! The chocolate cake was delicious, too. This cafe is worth the detour for from almost anywhere (and remember you get three hours free parking just over the road, so no need to hurry!

Fab little cafe. Great coffee and bacon sandwich was very tasty. My husband had the full English breakfast and thought it was excellent. The cannoli was also delicious! Staff very friendly too. We'll definately be back!!

Chilled and welcoming. Fantastic menu and delicious food. Had a very tasty brunch - eggs florentine did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning.

Awesome food and fantastic service never felt so welcomed by someone! The Philly cheesesteak was amazing and the dime cheese cake and blackcurrant cake we took home where to die for, and the home made ranch was amazing! We will be back!

A little gem in Hexham with real homemade food and very friendly hosts. Such a welcome change to the plastic food in the ever growing number of chain restaurants. Real hash browns, eggs cooked to order, most enjoyable breakfast experience!
