Just following on from my previous thought on your bargain cheap van men,have you considered if they have goods in transit insurance, this is important as it covers your goods whilst in the van just imagine if the van was involved in a serious accident and all of your possessions are smashed and scattered for far enough, what if the driver calls at a service station and the van is stolen or broken into. Just a quick thought Have you considered why some “Van men” can offer their services so much cheaper than others.Could it be because they do not pay tax or more importantly that they do not have the proper insurance for their van to cover its use.Imagine this “bargain” van man is stopped by the police and the van isn’t insured for it’s use what then,the van gets impounded complete with its cargo ie all of your possessions.Worse still if it’s hundreds of miles away just imagine no tv or Xbox until you can arrange for it to be recovered by another operator at more cost to yourself.
