20XE full rebuild underway

Back on with the Calibra DTM light resto, one bit of welding in the common cavalier/calibra front wheel arch, new Genuine number plate lamps fitted, brake service and new abs sensor.

Progress on the VXR van we are building, most of the VXR loom modified and fitted with VXR BCM and under bonnet base and front loom ready for under bonnet fuse box from the VXR donor, also fitted VXR master cylinder, servo, pedals, abs unit, power steering rack, brakes and suspension all round. VXR carbon canister & fuel lines on, fuel tank next.

C20LET cylinder head getting new valve stem oil seals, lapping the valves back in, also carrying out thread repairs for the cam cover mounting threads from previously being overnighted.

Calibra is getting close to being back on the road 😁

Recently had the cav down to Zidan’s for some much needed performance issues resolved along with some cosmetic changes, Zid and his technician burned the midnight oil working late to make sure the car was ready for me heading home, really nice to have work done on the cav by a true enthusiast and fanatic, can’t wait to get the car back down for the rest of the plan.

I have been using Zidan Motorsport for over 5 years now. Great service and competitive prices, wouldn't go anywhere else!

Had my nova gsi at Zids they have basically rebuilt the car absolutely over the moon with the work they have done. Brilliant service thanks again guys
