What a lovely busy session this evening ;) It's so heartwarming to see the friendships developing between our children, whoever says our kids don't have empathy. .....I see it with my own eyes , the older kids looking out for the younger ones. Parents you should be proud ❤
Thanks everyone for coming along

Mindfulness Workshop Tuesday 18th September at 6.45pm (about 1 hr 45 mins).
Venue: Outside the Box, Ilkley Small fee to cover costs of room hire and local travel of provider ... (actual cost dependent on numbers).
Time out to look at how you think and can help change negative thoughts. Dealing with mental health issues with things like anxiety and stress. Basically this is understanding our own language and thought patterns to identify ones that cause problems and being able to change the way we think. I have had over 5 years of experience in doing this type of work with people with extra needs and people who have not.
Delivered by Mark Glenton experienced master NPL (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and hypnotic practitioner. Parent of autistic children (PDA included).
This venue is totally accessible to any with disabilities or issues having ramps for an internal stair to make it accessible for someone in a wheelchair.
This wonderful opportunity has been offered to the parents in the PDA Yorkshire group and also local autism groups.
If you would like more details, or confirm your attendance or register interest please reply to Joanne Appleby or Ruth Auchterlounie. Mark is a member of PDA Yorkshire. Please reply on receipt as numbers are being gathered.

This is so true.....
Shouldn't laugh , but so true 😂
Zig zag is an important and worthy organisation in supporting parents and children with autism. Helping parents feel they are not alone.
Zig Zag is a really welcoming and inclusive group providing activities, support and information. We find it hard to get out and engage in mainstream groups. With the support from Zig Zag we can relax, laugh and enjoy ourselves!
Thank you for a wonderful evening at oxygen all 3 of the kids loved it!
Support for parents and activities for kids is brilliant, the motto is so true, you are never alone.
Lisa is an angel. She always available day or night and responds straight away to any questions or problems making you feel your the most important and listened to.
Lisa is always there when you need her advice. And she bends over backwards for the kids to have great relaxed play sessions.
Play sessions which aren’t judged and you know every parent understands! This is priceless!
Thank you Lisa for giving up your time for family’s to get together and feel like they are not on there own!
You do amazing and we appreciate it so much xxxxxxxx.
Its a great charity, services, service and staff as well
I totally agree with Claire, we attend Kids Clubhouse and Sensory Leeds with ZigZag, and the occasional support group, and it is the only chance we get, where we don't feel that we are judged, and we can talk to other parents in a similar situation to us. You do such a GREAT job Zigzag, and may well it continue, "thank you Zigzag. :) xxx
I love the group. We attend oxygen and kids clubhouse. You all do an amazing job for our children. It also give us parents a chance to take our children places we wouldn’t go. I feel like I can relax as we are amongst like minded parents. I don’t feel I need to explain my child or make excuses. Xx
Brilliant group great support
