This weekend's wines come from Marche.
The Sangiovese it's an organic red, with nice firm tannins and a good amount of body. In the nose it has deep plummy fruit notes with hints of liquorice and spice, in the mouth it's warm and well rounded.
The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi from Piersanti, in its iconic bottle, it's a true Italian classic. Pale white with green overtones, its crispy but delicate nature makes it perfect for the summer.

This weekend's wines come from Marsala in Sicily.
The Catarratto is of a bright yellow, with green overtones, and has a subtle scent of apricot and honey. In the mouth is pleasantly dry with an aftertaste of exotic fruit.
The Nero d'Avola, with just a bit of Merlot, is a ruby red with an intense nose and a rich aftertaste of liquorice and raspberry.
... Doesn't matter if it's cloudy. Rainy too. We'll carry the sun in our glasses.

This weekend's wines come from Marche, region of renowned craftmanship - musical instruments, footwear and leather products - and truffle hunting but also of grapes. From the cellars of Stefano Antonucci, 25 kms from the Adriatic Sea, come the red Rosso Piceno and the white Verdicchio.
Of a bright ruby red, the Rosso Piceno has got scents of red fruit and spices; outstanding marasca cherry flavour with a white pepper aftertaste, dry and persistent. Smooth, almost imperceptibl...e tannins. Straw yellow in colour, the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi is delicate to the nose; its taste is rich of fresh fruit and white flowers, with an almond aftertaste.
If you're more into cocktails, make sure to try Jon's mighty Boulevardier: close to a Negroni, just smoother and with Bourbon instead of Gin.

... Starting January 5th we will open our doors as a weekend wine bar for you to enjoy a menu of classic aperitivo and tasty wines, some new long and short drinks as well as a few cocktails. There will be finger food available at all times.
If you wonder where to get your favourite lasagna from now on, do not worry. We have teamed up with Deliveroo and starting January 15th they will deliver with 4 types of our lasagna to your house or office for lunch and dinner. Alternatively you can order directly with us and say hi while picking your food up.
Too much information to remember? Here it comes again in short:
Fri&Sat open for drinks and finger food 5-11pm. For Deliveroo and take out: Mon-Thurs, lunch (12-2pm) and dinner (6-10pm); Fri&Sat lunch (12-2pm).
