We hadn't booked a table, but it was early and very quiet so was given one of the high tables to sit at which was great to see the harbour perfectly. The food was really great and we couldn't fault anything.

User

We eat here a lot the food is always amazing and the staff are 5 star. Great view while you are having lunch or Dinner.

User

The staff, especially Callum, were very attentive and friendly. The food was good and well presented. I would recommend this Zizzi restaurant to friends and family.

User

Our antipasto shared starter was tasty and plentiful. Very much better than similar competitors. Likewise with the dough balls. Mains were just as good. Plenty of taste, flavour and freshness. We will return.

I need to follow a gluten free diet, and often find that, I have little to choose from. But that was not the case last night when I went with my son, daughter in law and grandson to the Falmouth zizzi. I was spoilt for choice. And the risotto pesce was delicious. Thank you.

Great food , good service and great views

User

Good location

Friendly and helpful staff food was nice and served swiftly

The only downsides

Pasta dishes the portions are small

The tables were sticky on arrival (need to be better cleaned)

And fairly pricey for what you got.

But great view of the harbour/docks

Amazing meal with great service, my 3 kids love it here

User

We had a family meal for 12 in Falmouth Zizzi last evening and on the whole everything was lovely with the staff (although they were a bit thin on the ground) being very attentive - Have to really complain though about the quality, quantity and the cost of the "Mushroom Brindisi" 3 of us had as starters - between the 3 of us we scraped about a forkful each of what looked like mushroom paste from the 2 pieces of "dough" in each bowl. Not one whole mushroom in sight between the 3 of us and at £5.95 for what was in fact 2 small slices of french bread we all agreed it was a "rip off"! None of us wanted to spoil the others evening by complaining last night hence this post on your web site. Saying all that on the whole we had a good family evening.

Very nice food & staff. We shared a starter & dessert & had a main each. Fruit spritzers we’re delicious, especially the raspberry one. My spicy chicken pasta in a creamy sauce with spinach was VERY nice. Clean, fantastic views, good service on a very quiet & bitterly cold (but beautiful) day.

User

Food was great shame it took so long between courses

User

Best Zizzi I have ever been to! In a completely different league to the one I went to in reading in 2009.

The tirimasu was much better than the one you get in Pizza Express!

There was one waiter for the whole place and was very busy so first course took an hour, but he knocked himself out trying to entertain us and win out hearts.

User

Kitchen very short staffed so mains took ages to come. Apparently they weren’t expecting to be this busy on the first weekend of half-term?!!

User

Food was okay, dessert was lovely, but the service was slow and useless. Table not cleared no offer of water or extra drinks. Would not recommend it.

User

What can I say, the food was nice, location was nice, the staff were less so helpful, one male staff member was very keen on impresseing a table of women to worry about any other table, our waitres was like “mad Mandy” from this country... sweaty, clumsy and smelt like fags.... we arrived at 6:45.... 3 hours later we left.... extreamly slow service, but the food was nice and so was the company and location... would I go back? Maybe not in a rush, maybe one day... so that’s my “fair” review!

We sat outside as we had two dogs with us then spotted lots of glass from broken glasses on the floor in the cracks of the stone so moved tables as didn't want the dogs cutting their feet on any bits sticking up, once we moved further along we found more pieces of glass including a 3 inch shard of glass that was sticking up. It's not good especially when children could be playing round those tables there's far too much broken glass lying around. Re service it started off well then had a changeover of staff they missed serving our daughters meal which was chased up - daughter got her meal but wasn't what she had ordered ! I ordered calzone which was nice to be fair in part but then 4 inches of the calzone had zero filling in it it was just pastry and sauce. We would have complained whilst there but were sat there an awful long time waiting for someone to come out to remove the plates and order dessert in the end we gave up and the hubby went in to pay - not good at all and I never take to fb to complain but it just wasn't good enough and we unfortunately won't be returning !

User

Ran out of many of the dishes we ordered and we had booked. It was not late either (7.30 booking) then they forgot two of the dishes. They sorted it quickly, and the waitress did a good job but they should not have run out of dishes so early. Food was nice once we had chosen alternatives.
