Went for our 24th wedding anniversary had a fantastic time. The man that greeted us was so lovely and friendly and the food was amazing well done to the chefs. We will definitely return back when we are in Birmingham again.

We dropped by on the off chance they had a table on a busy Saturday night. We were seated quick and the service was 5/5 very speedy no waiting at all. There wasn't a big selection of diet drinks which I found annoying, other than diet Coke which was in bottles and I prefer syrup. The only other choice of diet drinks were water, sparkling water, water with cucumber �, water......



We had a sharer starter which came quick and was TASTY!!



Main was YUM and dessert was pretty good too!!!

I must have chosen the best main because everyone else thought there's was average.



Overall I'd go again....but I'd get my Diet Coke from McDonald's first �

We booked online for an early evening pre dinner meal which was excellent! Service was attentive and very polite, the food, we both ate pizza, me Skinny pizza and delicious salad was excellent, husband a traditional one. We had downloaded a £10 off voucher which was happily accepted and we shared the Affogato dessert, delicious! This is the second time in 6 weeks we have booked (and told all our friends!), a super experience!

The service and staff were good. Our food was very good but I had the same meal at Telford Zizzi and it was a bit better. Sitting outside was lovely

The food is excellent and the atmosphere too. However, the night ended up being bad as our waitress called Lucie, she used my contactless card without asking for my consent; I was not asked if I wanted the payment to be contactless or not! I gave her the card and she simply did it contactless! When I asked why she did it contactless without asking for permission, she replied: “what’s the problem doing contactless, a lot of people do it, its not a big problem”. From there, I just didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to make a scene in front of new friends.

This is really inconvenient as it takes up to 3 days to show up on the account statement. I have been to many other restaurants, and I too work in a restaurant and have always been asked if I wanted to pay with contactless or not! Apart from this big inconvenience, the food is great! I loved it and will be coming back, and, hopefully the next time I will be asked if I want to pay with contactless or not.

Fritto misto was greasy as was the sea bass .. I know it’s fried but no need to have a greasy taste.. I went as had a voucher cloud. It’s a shame as I’ve eaten there before and it was nice then.

Thanks to your incredibly rude front of house team we had a fabulous meal next door at Cau. You left us standing out front for ages, we sat down and asked one of your staff if we could push a couple of tables together, to which she said yes, so we did. Then your waiter came out and very rudely told us off for moving the tables together. "In future you must ask permission to move our tables!" said the uppity waiter. Now we love Zizzi in the Mailbox so to be honest we didn't really know how to react to such negativity. It's only after our fabulous meal at Cau (which I will now be recommending to all our friends over your restaurant) that we realised just how rude your staff are. Hilariously I went back in to complain after our meal and surprise surprise there was no-one around to talk too, come to think of it and also at no surprise you had no customers in your establishment either. Coincidence I don't think so. So in conclusion. Shame on you staff of Zizzi Brindley Place. I'll be eating again next door from now on. �
