We had a lovely meal. The food was great and the service was Excellent. I do recommend people to go on the websites and check the offers I did and got 40% of my meal.

My husband treated me to pre birthday lunch at Zizzi Benet Street Cambridge. Service and food was awesome. Mikhail the gentleman who served us provided the best service received. The other places I had this kind of service was in Switzerland, Italy, South Africa and California.

Just been for our first visit to the Benet street restaurant.

Our starters were delicious well presented and arrived hot. Mains were just as yummy, I had the Rissotto Pesce which was amazing.

Service was very good and staff were attentive.

Only downside was when we presented our debit card to pay we were asked if could pay in cash or half n half as apparently they needed money to pay staff? As we were a bit ataken back, we didn't think much about it at the time and I just happened to have over a £100 on me and paid entire bill in cash...on hindsight, we decided this seemed a bit dodgy!!.

Well this was our first time here...the food was nice...the waiters and waitresses were nice and friendly but yes a bit slow to clear our table....wasn't asked if we would like dessert we had to ask for the dessert menu ourself

We went as a treat in between xmas shopping..service was awful got a drink eventually others didn't and we watched them walk out..starter was cold changed it and next was luke warm..my husband liked his mains but half mine again was cold it was virtually chucked at us , no offer of parmasan or asked if things were ok..was told when complained it was waiters 1st day, table next to us waited 20 mins for bil..l we were offered a coffee for our trouble and an apology from the manageress, but wasted nearly 2 hours overall which made the whole day late for bus and not much more shopping time..know why there was only about 8 tables occupied now, will never go back to this zizzi they have a lot to learn about customer satisfaction

Was not very happy to order the vegan chocolate torte and it come with whipped dairy cream, called over a member of waitstaff who whisked away the desert without saying a word. I was finally brought a replacement as my children were finishing their deserts and it looked very unappetising swimming in a pool of melted gelato. When I refused the desert it was deducted from my bill no questions asked but the whole thing has left a nasty taste in my mouth and a sore stomach seen as I’m sensitive to dairy after not having it for so long

Never had it stone cold anywhere else I have ever eaten. Main course was good, but the whole meal was spoilt by lack of service. We were asked were we ready to order before even being asked would we like a drink ? We were not offered water for the table. I was not offered Parmasan for pizza and had to find a waiter to get some. They only had one card machine working, and that caused problems for many as it kept failing, fortunately for us that was about the only thing that didn't go wrong. Will use Zizzi's again, but not this one.

Bruschetta was rock hard and very dry, pasta was cold so I had to ask for it to be re-heated - even then it wasn't hot! No Parmesan was offered and no waiter was available to ask as it was very busy and there weren't many staff. Tiramisu overly sweet.

Well your Customer Service just gets worse!!! We complained about our family Christmas meal on the 21st December, and was promised a reply by the Area manager. So far I have chased that reply up twice. Today I spoke to the head of customer relations who promised he would look into this. He promised he would personally call today...he hasn’t!!! Maybe your Chief Executive needs to be made aware of how you treat customers!!

The pasta here is amazing. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I ordered right before the table next to me. It took over an hour and a half to receive my main. The table next to me had eaten and gone by then. The waitress tried to blame me and say mine was slower because I had ordered a starter and the other table didn't, when I had watched the other table eat their starter (and then their main while I still waited). Unacceptably awful, rude service with no apology. There are other good Italian places in Cambridge and I will not be back here anytime soon.

We were going to have a dessert but decided not to bother as we knew we'd be sitting there for ages waiting. Even paying the bill took ages!

Very disappointed with the service and at no point were we apologised to for the slow service by the waiter.

I would like to think I will get a response to this from a senior member of staff but judging by the other reviews it looks pretty unlikely.
