Went for the first time yesterday and it was fabulous! Told there may be a 30 min wait for food as was very busy but it arrived after about 15. The pork pizza with crackling was amazing! Waitress very friendly. Went with 3 friends and all food was gorgeous.

Went for dinner with a friend. Staff were polite and attentive. I had the prawn and salmon skewer, it was delicious and filling. Managed to save a bit of space for the banana & chocolate calzone for dessert, very nice. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed, but we didn't have any waits for our meals or drinks. It was my first visit to Zizzi's and I would definitely go again.

Tasty food. Excellent service. A great menu with lots of choice. Convenient after a day wandering around Oxford seeing all its delights.

User

Only the second time I have been to a Zizzi. One in London a week ago and the Oxford location yesterday. Food and service is very good. Love their pizza. Would recommend them for sure :)

Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff who helped me and my husband yesterday evening around 7pm when I suddenly became unwell (unrelated to visit). Prior to this escapade, we had a wonderful meal and have always loved visiting, so thank you!

User

Excellent service, delicious food. Place to share good laugh with your colleagues!

User

Enjoyed our meal and pudding, have been lots of times we always like it there

Birthday meal for our son. The four of us had starters, mains and drinks. Too full for pudding. Waiter very efficient same guy who served us last year on my sons birthday. Kids love zizzi enjoyable meal.

User

Although the restaurant was very busy we were soon show a table for the four of us in a side booth. We were served our drinks and starters very quickly also our main meal was served without too much waiting. We all enjoyed our choices and the food was delicious the staff were attentive and efficient. We are now looking for a Zizzi close to where we live as we would definitely go back.

We took the grandson to Oxford for the day went the natural history museum and the went to Zizzi’s for lunch the menu was very good a excellent child’s menu and the service was excellent.

User

Nice evening out.

Our waiter, Ben, was very sweet and attentive,

Never had a bad meal at zizzi yet.

User

Ate here yesterday with my grandson. Food & wine good. Service not so. It was very busy but there just didn't seem to be enough staff to cope.

User

Ate recently with my family, had to ask for children's menu even though we walked in with 3 kids! Waitress very friendly and helpful. Food was nice but portions were on the small side for the price! Used to be one of our favourite restaurants but is now some distance behind the likes of Prezzo, Strada and Bella Italia.....which is a shame.

User

After a fiasco last week because of problems with the ovens came again this week with £20 voucher in way of an apology BUT many menu items not available. I see another email coming on

User

The food was ok but service was terrible, we had a pushchair with us with a very quiet 3 month old in and the male waiters acted like we’d bought in 15 screaming kids. The looks of disgust and snide comments made about the pushchair being in the way by the male waiters we’re not needed. Wouldn’t come back, felt so unwelcome.

User

Disappointed. Went with my husband after meeting a friend and ordered the seafood risotto which made me ill within the hour. When my husband rang to complain the next day, he was left waiting on the phone for nearly an hour before being treated to a tirade of justifications. It turns out their mussels arrive pre-cooked from the suppliers and are re-heated at point of order. One bad mussel can kill a whole dish. They refused to accept that they were at fault and tried to accuse me if having had too much to drink. They took no responsibility whatsoever, failed to offer any compensation or refund and have therefore lost two potentially loyal customers and all our friends. They do not appreciate the power of social media despite one branch being closed down in London. Return business is obviously not important enough and head office continuously fails to respond.

User

Awful wrong order given first then I asked for the pepper grinder which was broken and poured all over my pizza.. Waitress said oh sorry then walked off. My pizza absolutely disgusting.. Luke warm uncooked dough so disappointed will not return.

We’ve eaten a few times at the Oxford Zizzi’s and had lovely food but this time there was an awful drain sewage smell; what seemed to be BT work being done so lots of banging throughout our meal and no apologies for it; very slow service; no Parmesan or pepper offered with our meals; no offer of any drinks when ours ran out and pizzas were soggy and cold so all in all not a nice experience so we won’t be going back!

User

Just stood for 10minutes waiting for front of house to acknowledge us. No one did. Decided to go elsewhere. Is it that you didn't want your restaurant to be frequented by a young family. Maybe that's why the place was pretty much empty. Very disappointing.
