Well what an absolute fantastic and scary experience I have ever had!! doing the Stanley tools Sheffield yesterday with my friend Sarah and her family and friends for her hen do!! She's not the type of person to do the normal thing on a hen do lol but wow... What an amazing awesome time we all had with leama our person showing us the way.. I would definitely highly recommend it for anyone who wants a zombie infection experience, very scary but best time ever..

Was here last night and was the best experiance ever. Fear factor was high adrenalin was high and the team leading it was fantastic. Not once broke out of character and felt like a real military exercise. I know this as was in the military. Was in butchers team and he was amazing. Such a great bloke that can banter and have a good laugh with you. If you go and have the chance to be with him i really recommend him as he made the experience for me that much better. You must go to this event.

The most scared I’ve ever been! Such an exciting yet terrifying experience. All the actors never broke character and all of the zombies were horrifying. Loved how it started with bags on our heads and the fear kicked in straight away. Had such an amazing time. Thank you to all the guys there

Myself and some friends recently took part in the Sheffield Zombie Infection, we had a brilliant time. The staff were excellent, staying in character throughout the event and made every effort to keep the experience as real as possible for us. After the event the staff were polite, friendly and had a laugh with us, this really was the icing on the cake for my friends and I. Would definitely do it again. Thanks for a great event, keep up the great work.

I've always wanted to do an event like this so I decided to book it for me and two friends. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but I had a great time with my friends the one criticism I have is that there just isn't enough torch's per team especially seen as I went at night we had a big team I'm not saying everyone needs one but a few more would have been a benefit especially if the people who have a torch aren't exactly helpful like I said it was a big group me and two friends and about 6-7 others that we only just met but other than that it was brilliant I loved it and I'm already planning on going to another event

I did the Stanley Tools, Sheffield experience last week. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!

I was a little apprehensive as to how intense it would be, but found the team were really friendly and helpful and certainly put me at ease at the start. Our team leader gypsy was absolutely fantastic, gave good clear instructions and made sure everyone in our quite diverse group was involved. We had a group of 11 people ranging from 27-over 60 and am sure we all shot a zombie at some point!

Essentially there are lots of little missions to go and find something in an abandoned factory. There are wide open spaces, but also mazes and was surprised how often a zombie would pop out and try and get you! There are certainly times when the event got my heart pumping but at NO time did I feel in actual danger/ like the zombie actors might go too far.

Overall this was a great and memorable day out, I felt like the event was very well run and tightly controlled and would happily go again. Special thanks to Gypsy, our team leader

I attended Sheffield on 16th Dec for my partners 30th birthday. There was 10 of us so we were all on the same team and our leader was Butcher. We all had a fantastic time, the staff really made the effort to make it as realistic as possible and were in character from the moment we drove up to the gates. The zombies were realistic and scary (We thought there would be more of them but the ones we did encounter were brilliant). Butcher, our team leader, was great. He was the right person for our group as he kept in character without being over the top and we all got on well with him.

The only negative for us was the lack of warning about being blindfolded at the start. It wasn't just a blindfold, it was a canvas sack over your head, which for someone who is claustrophobic, wasn't a great experience. Also, some better quality torches would have been good as you are only supplied with a couple per team and one of ours gave up half way round.

Overall, a great experience that we all enjoyed and would definitely do again.

Had the best time ever here with my friends here last night, creating the best memories! All of the staff are great especially the zombies, with some of them literally sprinting at you! It was sooooo good!

The location is literally perfect, its massive, its abandoned, there is tonnes of hiding places and props, its the best!

It is well worth the money, without a doubt! We've done lots of adrenaline fueled attractions but this takes the cake, its priceless.

I would definitely recommend the weapon upgrade as with the standard shotgun you don't get many bullets at all but with the M16 for instance there is 50 bullets and with a good team that is enough; it was definitely great to have limited ammo as it makes it just like the real thing!

As answered in a review below don't expect hoardes of zombies, this company has more than any other company apparently and as the zombies respawn there is more than enough scares and you do need a breather now and again but obviously as this experience gets more and more popular and the price goes up it will get even better with more zombies.

In terms of improvement I think that the objectives could be improved more as it was unclear from the staff and group leaders what the objectives were and what you would get for completing a certain task for instance, I do realise that it can't be fully given away. For instance finding clues is very hard as the place is so big and so it gets very complicated with what you need to do for which task and how important that task is; for instance a map may help and some instructions. It is good that its challenging and in the dark with limited torches however from my experience on the night I think that due to the environment and distractions, the objectives definitely need to be clearer so that you feel that you are progressing and achieving more by being able to complete most of them - I understand that time is limited and there is definitely structure to the night.

Also maybe each team guide could have a counter to count the total zombie kills taken by each team and how many times each team member died just to add some fun competition between teams, although this would be hard to do with it being so dark.

The above is just minor improvements to an already amazing experience which you simply cannot afford to miss if you believe in living life to the full and there is lots of surprises that I do not want to spoil which are fantastic; keep them coming and we'll keep coming back and paying!!

Thank you very much for such a great time!!!

Had a absolutely fantastic night, so much fun and from the moment you enter the premises it is like you've entered an apocalypse, the zi soldiers acting is very good and serious, the Stanley tool factory was laid out very well and looked very authentic, almost gives you a taste of what it would be like if there actually was zombies kicking about, i did mine at night which is alot better, highly recommended and am definitely going again.

By far the scariest thing I have ever done. I wasn't originally meant to be going but my partner couldn't go so I took his place. I honestly had to keep reminding myself that it wasn't real. We did get put into a group of 12 and I do think we would of done better and been more organised if it was just a smaller group. I'm not usually a clumsy person but I did fall over twice. The first time was over my own feet as I was trying to run away from a zombie lol but the second was because our group was big and everyone charged through a small doorway causing me to fall over some debris left near a door and then had my fingers stood on. So I'd advise to be extra careful if your not sure footed. It starts as soon as you leave your car and is pretty much action packed from the get go. We had Sierra and she is brill. Not as shouty and bossy as some of the other guides. Would I do it again? I'm not sure my wussy heart could take it haha x

Brilliant day, from the welcome and near-phasing events, really great atmosphere and great immersion. Even though our team didn't get told what objectives we needed to get until halfway though, it was great fun (and a bit jumpy) clearing the floors of the Infected!

The only "complaint" was the eye protection fogging up!!

Awesome night butcher is the man “he showed me da way” well organised and well executed

User

Absolutely fantastic! All the staff were amazing and made the experience very emmersive! It was all so well thought out and organised

User

Absolutely amazing, it scared the hell out of us all, so realistic and a real adrenaline pump, we went for my hen do and it defiantly didn’t disappoint!! The staff are all in character and after are all so lovely. Recommend for all zombie lovers.

User

Absolutely amazing experience! Attended this event tonight (8pm - 11pm) and was not disappointed! Very well organised and the crew were brilliant! Thank you all so much!

Proper lived this. A bit tricky to find to start off. Staff and actors were great. Starts off steady with a bag on ya head and ends in a bit of panic. Fully reccomend

Attended this on 10th February this year! And well and truly loved it!! Very realistic and intense from start to finish!! I was one member of 8 of us that were on a Hen Do! So as you can imagine we were very loud and scared! And the members of staff were amazing at calming us down and encouraging us to carry on with the experience! However we hired a camera as a good memory for us to look back on and today after being told we would receive the footage two weeks after our experience, I finally received an email to say that the SD card was corrupted and they had lost our footage! And this was after numerous email enquiries to them relating to the footage over the past few weeks! So I highly recommend the experience but not the hire of a camera! We are all very disappointed about not having any footage but enjoyed the time we had!
