What an utterly amazing meal that was last night. Definitely will be going back and has definitely knocked Gusto off the top spot of my favourite places to eat in Liverpool. This little gem is located near the burnt out church at the top of town. It's called Zorba and it's a family owned and run Greek restaurant serving home cooked traditional Greek cuisine. Every mouthful blew my socks off. Starters, mains and dessert every bit was amazing. The staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. The owner even took time out to speak to us at length despite being run off her feet. I had garlic beef sausage to start. Followed by lamb kleftico and a pistachio bacalav to finish. I left stuffed but extremely happy. Forget the big chain restaurants in town get yourself to this little place I promise you you won't regret it!

What a lovely restaurant, food was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the lady that owned it even took time out to come and chat to me and my husband and told us the history of Zorbas . We will definitely be going again soon xx

We love this restaurant had so many amazing nights, fab food and lots of great memories over the years. Look forward to coming on our next visit to Liverpool

The best Greek Restaurant i have been in the UK! Great dishes, best Seftalia EVER! Amazig owners , The Legendary Mike and Louisa always made sure we had a great time! Portions were huge, and so so tasty, i guess its because they pay alot of attention to the good quality of their ingredients ! We were returning customers and many times they sat with us when they had time and offered us for free to try some Meze with ouzo or wine. if i could give more stars, i would. Always in my heart <3 Highly recommended!!!

Love zorbas the best restaurant in Liverpool the food is amazing i always get a hug from the owner when i go and she always asked about my family an there that often the humas is to die for

If you don’t have the vegetarian mousaka are you even alive? I haven’t been to Greece for a few years now but after having a meal here last night with my mum and dad, I feel like I have. Lovely stuff.

Have visited here many times. The food is amazing. The owner always makes a point of saying hello and welcoming us back. Definitely give Zorbas a try �

Had dinner with the wife, food was amazing and the staff very friendly! Little piece of Greece and Cyprus in the centre of Liverpool. Most recommended to all!

Great food and atmosphere. We visit regularly and the owner always makes a fuss of everyone and makes you so welcome. We will continue to eat there, the Kleftiko is to die for as is the homemade walnut cake!

Gorgeous food! Mezze is fantastic value for money! Will definitely be making the 30 minute trip in just for this place again!

Celebrated my Mum's 70th last night and the staff were wonderful. Felt very welcome and they couldn't do enough to make the night special. Apart from wonderful food, it was the little things like balloons on the table and the whole restaurant singing when the cake came out. I would highly recommend this restaurant 😊

Been going to Zorbas for years now its never disappointed us yet, cannot fault the food happy go luckystaff always spotlessly clean and to top it all thy are celebrating 44 years at this restaurant the longest residents in Liverpool well done zorbas x
