If you need last minute bottles of wine for a party tonight, we are here in the field until about 3pm.

Arson Fire Gammon!!! Simply boil the joint for 1 hr, transfer to roasting tin and remove the netting. Slice the fat and fill with Arson Fire Marmalade. Pop in a few cloves, cover with pineapple slices on cocktail sticks and roast at 180 deg C. Absolutely delicious. Ours is in the oven right now! Xxx 😘

User

During our winter closure, we are happy to deliver to island residents for free, mixed cases of 12 or more bottles of wine tying it in with our trade deliveries. Email or message us and we can arrange payment over the phone. Don't have an idea on what the day is like with no wine!!!! Merry Christmas. Russ and Caz x

User

It’s your last chance to buy wine for Christmas this weekend. We close Sunday 4pm for the rest of winter. Have a lovely Xmas everybody xx

Harvest complete!!!! What a lovely thing to be able to write after such a hard push 😓 Thank you so so much to all of you lovely people that helped us. It was a massive 20 tonne of grape this year. Compare that to just 2.4 tonnes in 2015!!!! Now we have 8 months to turn it in to beautiful wine xxx

User

It’s the final push! We hope to get the last of the grapes in this week so to all of our amazing volunteers or anyone new that would like to join us, we are picking from 9 o’clock today Tuesday 2nd October, Tomorrow and Thursday. 😊

User

Does anybody have a reliable contact for hay in small bales? Kev and Stan have none left and we still don’t have a local supplier.😥

User

Our new best harvesting friends. Bobby Davro and Tim Vincent. Only 14 tonne to go. Who’s coming tomorrow??? See you at 9am xxx

User

Harvest shout out, round 2 for the white grape. Next Wed 26,Thurs 27 and Fri 28. Come and join us for a day of picking and mingling in exchange for some wine. 9am til 4pm. Our wine needs you xxx

User

Harvest day 1. So many helpful volunteers this year. Thank you all.

User

Harvest shout out..... here we go. We can’t leave the black grapes any longer, they are ready to come in !!!!!!! We start the harvest this Sunday 9am and work through until 4ish. If any of you would like to join in this year in exchange for a few bottles of our wine, please msg us here. Depending on progress, we plan to pick Sunday and Monday.

User

Cleaning the press room can only mean one thing..... it’s harvest time folks!!! 😍❤️ Watch this space.

User

Wow what a transformation! Lovely place for afternoon tea, followed by a glass of wine or two. We sat in an elevated position overlooking sea, vines and countryside. Friendly chicken added to ambience. Lol Definetly worth a visit for all ages.

User

Went on Friday with my wife, who whilst on the tour turned her headphones off and was spotted returning to the shop by the owner who gave her a lift back to the top on his quad bike, the tour was very easy to listen too and informative and the tasting was excellent.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful and next time we visit the iow we will return

User

Went for the tour last week but the weather was atrocious and we didn't quite fancy wandering the vines in a monsoon. A chat with the lovely lady front of house and the next thing we knew we were getting a personal tour from Russ the owner. The enthusiasm of all the staff is infectious, Russ gave us a tour and capped it off with a tasting, even showing us heathens how to taste properly to impress the next vinyard we visit. Superb wines not overly expensive and a plethora of awards to back the product up. Highly recommend every aspect of this hidden gem.

So we really know how to taste wine now!

Set on a tranquil hillside this vineyard experience was one of the best we have experienced. With headphones and an electronic guide, you wonder around the vines, learning about the history of the vineyard and wine and the different types they grow on site. Make sure you stop and take in the view at the top of the vineyard, down across the hillside and out towards the bay of Sandown. Whilst we were there the sun beat down on us and it was truly lovely!

Once your walking tour in the vines is over, you venture down into the cellar where the process of wine making is explained to you. Afterwards, learn how to taste wine correctly and taste all the different wines from a dry white to a full-bodied red! Make sure you try the red wine and chilli infusion to warm you up on a colder day!

We decided to have a bite to eat and we can sincerely recommend the sharing platter for £14.95 and a glass of wine.

We will definitely be back and the teams hospitality is second to none! Well done guys, a real gem on the Isle of Wight!

PS. don't forget to buy some really nice wine! #IWLocalGuides #IsleofWight #WeekendPostcard

Me and my Husband Went yesterday Friday 18th May 2018 Had such a lovely afternoon. Gorgeous weather walking around the vineyard on the audio tour and then a wine tasting session where we were shown how to smell the wine and taste correctly. We really enjoyed the whole experience, staff are really friendly and enthusiatic about the wine and how they blend the flavours, all the wines tasted great and we came away with x2 bottles x

Lovely time visiting in October with hubby and parents. Not everyday you see my 85yr old dad (near enough t-total) drunk from tasters, let alone by 11am! The pumpkin man on the bench summed him up perfectly! We made such good memories visiting and will be back to buy more wine.

User

Lovely little vineyard, staff extremely welcoming & happy to share their knowledge. Lovely little cafe too. Our personal favourite was the Blush wine & we made room in the boot for a few bottles 👌

User

Just visited the vineyard and enjoyed tasting the wines (and buying some to take home). Thank you Joshua for explaining the wines and serving out tastings. Enjoyed a tasty bacon and brie toasted sandwich with a glass of their full bodied red. A sign/arrow from the bottom of Sheep Lane would be useful for those who miss the sign at Well Lane or walk from the opposite direction.

User

I love this place! I had such a lovely, chilled weekend here. I stayed in the snug which was so comfortable, cosy and has amazing views across the countryside. Russ and his wonderful team made sure I was well looked after. The complementary wine tasting and vineyard tour was great. Russ really knows his stuff. The passion he has for wine making is obvious as he describes his wines and the processes of making them during the wine tasting. I will definitely go back back

British wine??? You can keep it!! Now I have tried the English wine at Adgestone Vinyard, I dont think I can go back to supermarket plonk!. Friendly staff, family run. Amazing selection of proffessional wines and other specialist products. Very personnal touch. 5*

User

We visited the vineyard and unfortunately the weather was not being kind to us !! The staff however were very welcoming and friendly. We tried the wines and purchased a few bottles of red lots of lovely local produce to buy, variety of mustards and ales. We went in to the tea room which was spotlessly clean and also had friendly staff. We had coffee and cake but the meals looked delicious. This was a nice place to visit but would be fantastic if the sun was out. Lots of outside seating and grass areas. Well worth a visit
