We would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has come to visit us in the Soft-play over the last 11 days. The response has been fantastic. However we have taken into consideration everybodyŌĆÖs comments and would like to offer you an after school January Special offer.
We would also like to respond to other comments made:
Toilets... Visitors are currently using the Toilets at our Adventurers Cafe just opposite our Soft-play area however there will be toilets at the Soft-play in the near future.
Space Island Equipment The skeleton of the Soft-play was the old Framework from Space Island however this has been totally refurbished and turned into a jungle theme in keeping with the Zoo and the rest of the indoor play area.
Adults on the Soft-play As a rule Adults are not allowed on the Soft-play however if you need to go onto the Soft-play to supervise your child we understand, we just ask that you are sensible and respect that there are small children around you.
Menu The menu in the Soft-play is designed to be simple. Our Adventurers Cafe opposite provides an extensive menu and we are more than happy for our visitors to head across and eat at the cafe and then head back into the Soft-play again which a lot of our customers have been doing.
Birthday Parties We currently offer 3 types of birthday party, please see our website for more details.
Separate Prices/Joint tickets for Zoo & Soft-play Currently the Zoo and Soft-play are separate Entries but this is due to change in the near future. No more information on this is available at this time.
Season Tickets This is something we have been asked about by many visitors. We will give out more details Via Facebook and our website in due course.

We spent a lovely half day here, and returned for another free 90mins visit a few days later. Yes it's not huge - but we knew that, but there's loads to see and the enclosures are very good as you can watch the animals in them better than you can at other zoos. The whole visit is made perfect by a walk through the lemur enclosure. They are so tame and come to greet you, climb on you and the experience is absolutely amazing. Loved the tame wallabies, the parrots are so sociable, the meerkat can be watched close up, etc etc. Will definitely visit again next time we holiday on IOW.

User

We had a lovely day at the park. It was great to be able to get so close to the animals. It's great walking through while the birds fly about you and trying to spot the different species hiding in the shrubs. Brilliant that you can come out and go round again. A whole days fun!

User

Such a great day out! It was even better than I expected. I can't recommend it enough, there's too much to talk about but I will just say it's great to get so up close with such lovely creatures. We are going back again with our free 7 day return pass available on the door.

User

Really good day out ’┐Į we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. Good price for entry and well worth the money.

User

Really enjoyed our visit today, a great way to enjoy a few hours when the weather is a bit glum. The twilight exhibit was great fun, never seen armadillos so active! Thoroughly recommended for families with small children.

User

Really enjoyable zoo with well cared for animals.

Staff very friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable.

Great play area and dinosaur bone digging and information area.

Great cafe.

Your tickets are valid for 7 days so you can return as many times as you like within these days.

User

On our visit we found it wasn't very busy which gave us the opportunity to relax and enjoy the park at our own pace. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and our slow pace allowed a lot of the animals to come up really close.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a nice informative talk about the Meercats.

We broke off for a nice lunch at the onsite cafe and then went back in for another tour which is free as they stamp your hand for the day to let you come and go as you please.

The weather unfortunately turned just as we started the second trip but staff came to the rescue with the offer of umbrellas. Most of the animals did the sensible thing and got out of the rain except for the Red Pandas who apparently love our bad weather.

User

Love amazon world we visit when we are on the island love the tapirs and have been lucky enough to do two tapir encounters this year cant wait to visit again in november when we are back on the island

User

I visited the zoo last week whilst on holiday, and although itŌĆÖs small I can safely say itŌĆÖs one of the best I have been to, the enclosures get you close to the animals, some of which you donŌĆÖt see in other zoos, all animals are wonderfully cared for. And after doing the tapir experience I can say itŌĆÖs something I will never forget. Would definitely recommend this zoo.

User

I always love visiting when on the island. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time grooming the tapirs and being used as vantage points by the lemurs. It's nice to see the park developing it's enclosures each time I come, the new penguin pool is lovely, just a shame they were moulting so we couldn't see them using it, hopefully next visit.

User

Had my first visit to the park yesterday and wasnt sure what to expect. After a leisurely walk around (took about 3 hrs) it was a beautiful afternoon, i was very impressed at how clean the park was, the enclosures were beautifuly laid out, very clean and largely accomodating. The animals looked very healthy and happy and the interaction with the lemars and wallabys was out of this world! When visiting other animal parks you find the staff are not always in the mind of answering your questions or are very busy but the staff here were friendly and approachable and were more than happy to answer all of my questions even while busy. I personally found amazon world zoo a very happy, friendly and relaxed place to visit and for the price of admission it was certainly worth it, Well done to you all there keep up the brilliant work !

User

Came here twice this week while on holiday, it was honestly a great experience, me and my partner did the tapir experience and the keeper India was very informative about all the animals and was very happy to take pictures of us while we where feeding the animals. The animals here are very active and friendly especially the lemurs, which is a must do! Thank you to all the lovely friendly staff for making our visits so enjoyable!

User

A wonderful day out, brilliant animals. BUT what really made the day for us was the staff. Truly wonderful, kind, lovely people. I wonŌĆÖt go into the whole story but they were truly amazing when my son needed help.

User

A good variety of animals. Most of the enclosures were plenty big enough. Wheelchair/pushchair accessible.

Be prepared for the temperature, it's very warm (inside) & outside if sun is blazing.

Keepers a knowledgeable and very willing to talk about the animals in their care.

A lovely place.

My only concern would be that screaming children may frighten the animals.

User

We liked all the animals. I loved the flamingos. Grandchildren loved the turtles and lemurs. They got up close and personal. We took advantage of the 7 day return and will be going again in 2 days.

User

Despite the awful weather we spent 2 1/2 hours walking round and looking at the animals. Would have spent longer if the weather was better. Reasonable entry prices and for that price you can go in and out all day. We ate at the small cafe too and had a nice meal which was reasonably priced for a cafe at a tourist attraction. Definitely go back when weather better

User

Well...the pictures in the IOW book were fabulous and we expected great things.. We were very disappointed. It was a wet day and we saw very few outdoor animals. The lemur walk through was locked and there is little to do when the weather is poor. They r creating an indoor soft play which will help when the weather is poor but after 45minutes on our visit we had done it....poor for the money. The outdoor play area looked good and despite the rain our 5 year old enjoyed it. Man in the cafe just managed to speak.. But all the other staff were friendly enough. Wouldn't rush back and didn't make the use of the 7 day return as our son wouldn't have been entertained. .

User

Was a good couple of hours out and about, sadly the queue took forever (to get into the attraction)- 1 person manning the entrance. But suffice to say both my sons 8&5 enjoyed it, plus the variety of animals plus the shop and play area.

User

I felt that some enclosures where amazing like the armadillos and others seem quite sparce of enrichment like the iguanas. Didn't seem to be many keepers during my time there but I presume they were busy elsewhere. Animals seemed healthy but quite a few where on there own and paced in circles. Would visit again to see if it was just an off day as we all have them
