incredible to bank with Barclays for over 30 years and I receive a letter and form asking for all my updated personal data and information that requires signatures of embassy or consulate officials - with one month to complete or they will close my account. Not an explanation of why nor thanks for the years of loyalty as a customer. Truly disappointed with the service and lack of transparency.

We have moved residency to a EU country and asked to have a Euro account linked to our GBP account, they can open the account but are incapable of giving us a debit/credit card linked to the Euro account thereby forcing us to convert to GBP to be able to access our Euros. A money making racket on behalf of Barclays. Totally unacceptale incompetance from an international bank. Do not advise anyone to invest with them. Am looking for a bank that has the competence to be able to give us what we want.
