From field to table... we learnt all about wheat and how it is ground to make flour and talked about the food we can make with flour!! And then we made yummy pancakes!

Wow!! Something really magical happened today!! The children actually saw duckling number 2 being born 🐣😍

The first of our new arrivals putting in an appearance!! There’s going to be some very excited children at Highwood Tots this week! 🐣😍🐣

So this week a very special package arrived!... our duck eggs for this years hatching. Six lovely eggs all from khaki Campbell 🦆 hopefully our new arrivals will be with us by the end of June 🐥🐣

Our theme this week has been bugs and mini beasts...

Have cleared this little patch of all its weeds and next week we will be turning this into a vegetable and herb patch for the tots to create!!

This hot weather brought the padding pool and bubble tuff tray out of the shed this week! We know how to stay cool at Highwood Tots! 😎

We’ve planted our sunflower seeds!! 🌞🌻 Just need this sun to stick around for us!!

The first time I left my son with becki I knew I had made the right decision. after pulling him out of preschool as neither of us were happy, I wondered of I would find someone I could trust and who Fred would feel safe with. well I need look no further! fred loves his days with becki and has made some lovely friends.

becki is passionate and professional and I'm so happy I found highwood tots!

My son has separation anxiety and hates being left anywhere without me. however since coming here, it's all he talks about! And actually asks to go there :) highly recommend:)

My little boy goes to becki currently once a week and absolutely loves it, he's always busy and well stimulated, he comes home happy and well cared for, becki is lovely and I feel happy and confident that she will care for and keep my boy safe like I would, the setting is clean well presented, safe and suitable for the ages becki caters for and lots of benefits/experiences for the children that they wouldn't necessarily get in a preschool setting, highwood tots is reasonably priced and there's even an app where your kept updated regularly with notes and pictures of what they have been up to! I would highly recommend highwood tots, I have two other children one who will join my little boy in September and my daughter will hopefully do holidays xxxx
