We ate here two nights running as the food was very good and the service excellent. On our second night (Sunday), the service was equally good and the young waiter proved to be very helpful. I would highly recommend booking a table as they get booked up very quickly.

The chefs at this venue are class. I came here twice this week whilst working on the island, the food is extremely reasonable, in fact they could get away with upping the price a bit.

The food is high end pub grub boarding on a la carte. Extremely tasty and flavoursome. Staff very friendly and attentive.

The Mexican soup I had tonight was an arch de triumph, possibly the finest soup I've eaten. Will definitely be returning when I come back to work on the island.

The Reef was modern and fresh decor, staff were friendly & helpful. We had garlic bread pizza style, mussels & fries (which was amazing) and shared a lovely lemon meringue pie. Nice atmosphere. Great location. Would recommend.

Roomy interior, quick service, generous portions, had the Chicken burger at lunchtime which was cooked to perfection. Man behind bar adjusted our table so it didn't wobble. Girl behind bar lovely and chatted happily to us. Can recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Really nice cocktails, good ciders and lovely views across the sea! Top bar!

Have been here 2 nights in a row, Billy our waiter on both nights and he was very good and attentive, asking if everything was OK with our meal � food was very nice as well

Great food and great accommodation with spectacular views of Sandown beach loved the cocktails!!

Would highly recommend thank you for such an enjoyable and memorable stay would definitely come again.

Come back yesterday for a day trip. Loved the pizza last time so thought would go for some thing different. Had surf and turf and it was amazing. Lovely food and lovely staff.

Can only speak as I find, what an awesome 👏 place. Staff were accommodating of the three dogs 🐶 warm welcome given and one waitress was on standby to say thank you and goodbye.

It is true we did not eat food as we were what we call wanting to slum it and have fish and chips in paper on the beach. We did have a couple of pints 🍻 though and we saw people order food 🥘 when it came it looked amazing 😉 it did not take long to be delivered either. There were quite a few people in, so for all the negative reviews maybe people went when the place was heaving. I would return in a heart beat next time we are on he I.O.W.

Amazing food , great service even on a busy Saturday night - I was amazed at the massive portions of food - sadly didn’t have room to have a pudding - will be back next time we are on the isle.

15 of us and a dog celebrated my birthday lunch here on Saturday. The food was excellent with something for everyone. Everyone commented on how nice their meals were and all meals arrived correct and consecutively.

Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely visit again on our return.

We had a fabulous meal last night. The staff were really helpful and friendly. A great menu and loads of food for the money. We couldn’t eat the desert although I really wanted to, so had licquer coffees instead. Good value.

This places has good food great views but is a victim of its own success and menu the kitchen can't cope when it's busy with such variety on the menu it can't cope but all in all good food and the waiting staff that served us were excellent

Was told this was the best place to eat in Sandown and the food was good. Service wasn't fab � 5 staff on but was left half an hour after eating - plates not cleared and had to go to bar to ask for the bill. To be honest we could have just got up and left without paying!

Very popular the place was packed out. The meal portions are big I left half of mine so I could have their delicious lemon meringue pie. Staff very attentive.

Sad to say not the best. Eaten here many times, usually lovely. But my birthday meal wasn't great. No draught beer, no spag bol, missing veg and dry fish. Shame coz we usually love it. �

front of house seem to not care whether you get a table or not, food ok, but an hour, come on!!! they seem to cook a table at a time, the guy next to us's order was wrong, they cooed it correct but just made everyone elses slower. The restaurant next door seemed quicker, ledgends, a couple went in, order was taken, they ate and left and we were still waiting. wont be going back!!!!
