Great little pub with friendly staff and a great selection of ales, beers, lagers and wines.

Lovely pub this, decent selection of beer and locals also chatty and friendly.

They should switch off the dreadful piped music though as it makes no sense these days.

Good real Ale pub.

We love this pub. The staff are very friendly - always greet you personally which is a lovely touch and always make you feel that you are really welcome and special. The bear is not what you expect from a pub as such an area- a good choice and of a very very high standard. Also for a wonderful report from the 5* hotel we frequented. Saying the locals advise its The best in the area
They also have a barn area which we hired for a special birthday party - it worked out really well.
It has a log fire lovely paintrens as well

A brilliant, proper pub. Fantastic ales, packed to the low-ceiling beams with great punters and tons of atmosphere. Always a mild on handpump too which is a good sign.
