Dont skip an energy packed, brain fuelling breakfast because your excuse is not having enough time. - Porridge made with rolled oats is a great choice of food in the morning thanks to its slow releasing energy. Oats are complex carbohydrates so our bodies take longer to digest and absorb than say a simple carbohydrate, such as boxed breakfast cereals e.g cornflakes. This is because the oats (steel cut,rolled variety) are sold to us in a lesser processed, broken down form so ...they have most of their natural state fibres and sugars still intact. Other grains which you find in white sliced breads, cereals, breakfast bars etc have less fibre and often more sugar to satisfy a sweet-tooth. So the body gains an instant spike in sugar and energy but the release doesn't last long like a complex carb does... see where i am going here? - So fill a microwave container with: 1/2 cup of oats 1/2 cup of water 1/2 cup of milk (dairy or non) Chopped banana Tspoon of seeds Mix together well. Microwave for 2-3 mins (stir 1/2 way)

I was truly excited to have taken a dip with 100ŌĆÖs of others for the 54th Porthcawl Christmas swim. CouldnŌĆÖt feel my toes for around 1 hour after ŌØä’ĖÅ

Glutes aka the butt muscles are big business in the body and if you hadnŌĆÖt noticed yet, in the fitness world too.
Having strong functional glutes can help the body move better as they stabilise and assist many movements that we perform on a daily basis. Back and knee problems can also be the cause of weak glutes, as muscles in those areas (above and below the hips) over compensate and work harder for the lack of activation in the glutes.
