Top flight outfit of “A list” musicians performing a great mix of Swing Jazz, Retro and Soul/ Blues. Meantime are fronted by the hugely talented international vocalist Gordon Webber, along with one of the UK’s most original and uniquely gifted guitarists, Nicholas Meier, (Jeff Beck Band) and Phil Veacock, tenor saxophonist and arranger for Jools Holland’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. With Gordon awaiting the finalised dates for his Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine tour, Nicolas about to start his Pete Oxley-Nicholas Meier “The Colours Of Time” tour and Phil performing with Ed Sheeran and working with Paul Weller on his new album, these boys are always in demand.

Vintage vocals evoking the back streets of Montmartre together with a touch of the American speakeasy from this multi-talented French singer and violinist whose impressive four-octave range of a voice soars effortlessly through Jazz, Latin, Blues & Gallic chanson material. Having worked with some of the best musicians, writers and producers around, Andy Bradfield (Imelda May, Rufus Wainwright), Marcella Puppini and Alex Golding, (Lulu, Keziah Jones), Oriana has developed her own distinctive style whether covering timeless standards, or performing her own catchy tunes!

Soulful jazz singer Zena James brings catchy grooves and infectious energy to all of her shows. Inspired as much by 70’s soul as by the jazz greats, Zena‘s had great reviews for her funky new take on popular and rare jazz gems and irresistible, low-down R&B sounds. Expect funky arrangements of popular jazz standards and groove-laden self-penned originals with this charismatic vocalist together with the acclaimed guitarist Dominic Ashworth. “Emotive delivery …. compelling originals …..” The Independent

I have to say I am so impressed by this bar.

We hired the area on the top floor (first section on the right) for my sister-in-law's 30th birthday.

We had been let down last minute by another venue and these guys swept in to save the day!

They kept in touch throughout the week to make sure everything would be perfect. We pre ordered food and drinks and everything was timed perfectly.

When leaving a couple of people had enjoyed the cocktail menu a little too much...and instead of asking us to stand outside whilst waiting for a cab. The door men stand (Wally and Jason) organised a seat for those less able to stand. I was genuinely blown away by the service and kindness!

Big thanks to Lee and Bell who looked after our booking.

Camilla and Jay for managing the evening and lovely Mona (think that's her name) and the Spanish lady who kept the area clutter free. I know I may have missed a few more people.

Thank you guys! Need to be more bars like you in London.

I don't get it, all the recent posts seems to suggest you're more likely to have a bucket of shit dropped on your head than receive a good cocktail by good people. Maybe I don't have the greatest expectations, I once received a slice of slithery American cheese between two dilapidated floury buns having expected a "cheese burger" but still managed to admit the humans delivering the abomination were of a positive genus.

For me personally, and on behalf of the others (three girls whoop whoop) the service was extremely friendly, the recommendations great, the cocktails cocktaily. Brilliant ambiance, would go again.

Thanks

Hsd a great time last night lovely wine. Staff were excellent

User

It was quiet for a Thursday evening in Soho. The greeting at the door was friendly and efficient and I was sent upstairs to the cocktail bar (downstairs is a wine bar). Without doubt the darkest bar I've ever been in! The music was just this side of uncomfortably loud, A server brought 3 glasses of water for our table almost immediately, but we then waited about 15 minutes for someone to take an order (maybe they couldn't see us!). Eventually we had to stop the manager as he rushed past. Service when it did arrive was friendly and well informed, and the recommended 'Rose Tinted' cocktails were beautiful and delicious. Another very long wait for the bill (with the result that we missed our table booking at subsequent restaurant) and again only after we'd gone in search of a server. Overall, good cocktails at average prices for London, let down by the ambience and the slow service

My partner and I popped in last night for a drink on our way back to our hotel as seemed like a nice wine bar...but the attitude and services of the staff was unsatisfactory. When arriving the staff were very abrupt and seemed flustered as we did not have a reservation. When given a table they took a substantial amount of time to take our drinks orders. The only good thing in this place was the wine. Even the staff didn't know what drinks we ordered when serving them to us and got very confused and seemed not happy that we correct them. They took even longer than the first time to notice us when calling for another drink. Nice decor nice wine but staff need to be trained a have better manners.

User

The staff here were pretty rude - service slow - given my bill by 2 and expected payment on 3 separate occasions before our drinks had even arrived. Told we could have a table until 9pm (the sign on the table said this too) However, 15 minutes late told that's not the case they just had 'no other chalk signs left'. Entrance staff were rude and unhelpful for me to find my friend specifying 'she's probably the one I said could have the table until 7.30pm and she is pushing it. For the record. She wasn't...' The bar is nice - but they need to work on their welcoming from front desk to waiter staff. We left on that reason alone.

User

Staff are disgustingly rude. The manager upstairs will slam glasses on your table and walk away and the staff upstairs always seem in such a hurry to do nothing. Last night, at around 12.30 they started kicking us out for the horrifying reason that 'there were no customers'. I'm not sure what we were then, and there were quite a few other tables. I've never heard something so ridiculous. Plus on Google it says they close at 2am, which is the basis on which we decided to buy 2 bottles of champagne, thinking we'd have quite a lot of time to drink them. When we asked what were we to do with our drinks, the bouncer got aggressive and raised his voice at us saying. This is the same bouncer who, when I entered the bar alone he asked if he should take his jacket off and take me on a date inside. There was a short haired waitress who was also being very rude and disputing what was clearly on my phone: that they close at 2am. It blew my mind that they have such a lazy, non-existent work ethic. We come here every week and buy bottles and bottles of champagne but will never set foot in this place again. I have to say that there was one person (a short haired man) working upstairs who was fantastic.

User

Lousy service, unwelcoming and the waiter disputed that our bill was short by 6p.

User

Great cocktails and good service. Really let down at the end though.

Had a £10 January offer voucher to use so I booked a table. The staff member at the end of the night was incompetent in allowing us the £10 discount. Our bill was nearly £100 for just drinks so you’d think they’d be a little understanding. Makes me feel like the January £10 off offer is just a ploy to get people in before using any technicality to get off authorising it. I felt like it was embarrassing but I was trying to stand up for my pride here. Rest assured I will tell all of my poor experience here.

If things couldn't get worse. Following on from my review I received an email thanking me for attending then offering me 10% off (on the condition I attend again and on the condition the party is of 5 or more). At no point has my complaint been addressed which tells me their customer service is terrible.
