Thank you for your fantastic hospitality last night on my 40th birthday. The venue was perfect: cosy, with good music, tasty food and great cocktails.

Only popped in for wings after great reviews online and we weren't disappointed.

Tried all the variety of wings and the garlic and parmesan wings were a pleasant surprise.



Will definitely be going back to hopefully try maybe the chicken and waffles but i imagine the wings will win again.

I came to absurd for the first time and my experience has been phenomenal. Sasha has been amazing, her service, her persona and her passion towards her clients has been outrageous. Sasha you have been great! I will come back for you hunny xxx

Had a birthday meal yesterday, family of 5, 3 kids under 12, what a fab place. Small but perfectly formed. Sit downstairs if you can, relaxed informal feel, great food. Chicken & Waffles were amazing, big hit with all the family. Definitely coming back.

Great place, great atmosphere and fun chicken. Eat ten here a few times and everything been perfect.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and most importantly the food was fabtastic. Would recommend the fried chicken dirty buns and jalapeño biscuits!!!

Came here with my other half. It's small and we were lucky enough to get a table. Good little speakeasy downstairs so had a few cocktails whilst waiting for our table. The food itself was excellent. Good portions and perfect timing between courses. Kudos to our server yesterday who was exceptional.

Walked past whilst feeling peckish, luckily managed to get a table as a walk in. We had high hopes and AbsurdBird definitely did not disappoint! To top it all off it was happy hour as well ��Will be coming back for more wings and to try the chicken �

Dropped in here by mistake....was meant to go to another chicken place not far from here. Pleasant surprise. Dishes varied and verrrry filling. Pleasant atmosphere. Staff still in training.

The food is great- but go to Spitalfields where the customer service is much better. Been to this branch twice now and on both occasions served by the same sub- standard waitress. She's inattentive and spends much of her time mucking about and chatting. Our table was booked for 5pm and waitress and chef were at the table they were giving us- they moved- leaving behind their Starbucks cup. Nice. Food was great as always- although the biscuits were a bit overcooked. Service was slow given there were so few customers.

A group of us went for the bottomless brunch, we reserved a table in advance to be safe.

The food was very good, some of the best chicken I've had in a long time. Congratulations to the chefs and they would get the 5*.

The bits that let it down for me was that we went for the bottomless beer as opposed to the Prosecco or Bloody Mary's but feel we made the wrong choice as the beer was tinned Carlsberg (assuming this is to keep their costs down) which in my books isn't a good a drink at all but it wasn't advertised as to what beer it was and they stock some nice looking beers in the menu which didn't even mention Carlsberg and you were served half a tin at a time (although this isn't necessarily a bad thing as it kept your beer cold).

We were a party of 5 but we still found when waiting on food the party didn't all get dishes at the same time. The starters were all brought together then the mains were staggered a little and the desserts a lot to the point the first 2 came out (we prompted the recipients to eat) and the other 3 came well after the first 2 had finished theirs and not even being eaten at a fast rate, we were conversing. We also had to prompt the waiters for more cutlery including spoons for the desserts.

So all in all a bit let down on the table service side but the food was excellent.

went with a bunch of friends for pre theater lunch,big disappointment! Waited 2 hours for average food,felt sorry for staff as they tried as best they could.We had to leave without dessert as we ran out of time,also had to haggle about the bill!!

after ordering from this place in September, i emailed in as myself and a friend got ill from the food. they haven't responded though I have asked for feedback and have followed up regularly. it seems they will only respond to a social media message - which is quite upsetting :/

I spent £30, a glass of wine, a cocktail the messy chips(which was served cold) and 4 buffalo wings( still pink on the inside, feathers everywhere, no taste) Very disappointing actually.

No I did not return the food or kicked up a fuss, I did however express my displeasure to the waiter (which obviously was not something he could fix).

I won't be going back there and quite frankly until they learn to cook the chicken (as it looked like it was ready to take flight) would not recommend to anyone else it.

Definitely a wasted £30 experience

We booked our table in advance more than 10 people.There is no place .We had lunch to wait for more than 2hours. very big disappointment :never agen would not recommend to anyone.

If I could give no stars then I would. Bought a Groupon voucher which states in the terms and conditions that it's not valid on Bank Holidays or during December. When trying to book a table for Saturday evening to use our voucher, we were told that the restaurant can choose when to accept the vouchers. It isn't fair, we bought the voucher specifically because it stated it could be used on a Saturday. Lady on the phone treated us like rubbish, I feel deceived by your restaurant. Groupon are not pleased to hear that you are not honouring their vouchers based on the terms and conditions stated.

Booked a table for 4 - late afternoon during the week. Staff were very friendly! The food however was a terrible letdown.



My fondue was luke warm and the chicken wing was actually stone cold!! I politely sent this back and it was changed..(but no complimentary extra wing!!) My friends - one had a tiny nugget sized piece of lukewarm chicken in her burger with loads of slaw filling it up... The fries, onion rings and macaroni cheese were the only actual hot food served to us. Basically all chicken dishes were lukewarm, but sides cooked/fried perfectly.



All four of us were bitterly disappointed considering the place was so quiet when we visited - there really is no excuse!!



We all left quite a bit of food on our plates - still hungry. I had a long Island cocktail - I'm still looking for the alcohol that was missing!!



Why didn't we complain? We didn't want to spoil our day - food was edible in places and it was cheap... so we certainly got what we paid for... the decor is in desperate need of a clean and bar flies need to relocate & change the chef!!
