acar2go Director Mark Duncan was delighted to be asked to participate in the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) swim event, this commemorated the anniversary of the start of the fund rasing 33 years ago that enabled the Hospice to be built.
The full story was reported on the Front Page of the Bucks Herald this week.
Mark raised £560 for the Charity by swimming the whole 30 lengths at Champneys near Tring.
... acar2go are also the Main Sponsor for the FNHC Midnight Walk this year for the 3rd year running.
We want the local community to know that we are very much a part of everything that is Aylesbury, we are in Aston Clinton which is a very short drive away enabling those who visit us to save an awful lot of money.

... If I make the distance acar2go will contribute £10 per length towards the Charity.
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity
On New Year's Day in 1986, the Vale of Aylesbury Hospice Appeal Founder Mrs Barbara Lucas launched what became a huge local effort to raise money for a new Hospice to serve Aylesbury Vale.
Two years later they opened the door for the first time and this year they are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the opening.
Many people from Aylesbury and surrounding areas have benefited from the facilities at the Hospice, if you would like to support us in this event then please feel free to turn up between 08:30 and 09:45 Donations are of course Welcome.
On Monday 7th January 2019 at 08.30am, Barbara will rewind the clock and be back once again at Champneys Tring to commemorate the 30 years since the Hospice opened.
She will join a group of volunteers, supporters and staff in swimming 30 lengths of the Champneys pool.
