My wife and I moved back to Chelmsford a couple of years ago after having bought our first house in Cressing in 2012 when I was employed. I went self employed later that year. The plan was always to move back to chelmsford for when the kids went to school but I didn’t know how we were going to be able to buy in Chelmsford with the prices of 4 bedroom family homes. Gary and the Active Team made it possible. Gary told me what earnings I needed to show and and what deposit I needed. We were able to plan buying our home (for the next 10+ years) because Gary told us how it would be possible. Once we were ready, we applied for the mortgage, Gary held our hand until he passed us to Lauren who followed everything through. She liaised with solicitors and the lender and gave us regular updates. Buying a home is stressful and emotional, Gary and the team at Active made it more bearable. I contacted gary a few times in attempt to pay back the help to buy loan early but circumstances out of his and our control stopped it, however once we had our personal situation change we went in head first and gary and I together with his advice moved mountains to get us in the running to do it! Without gary we would be stuck with the government loan and our new born twins wouldn’t have such a stable home and we would be stuck with paying the government back dead money! On the subject in new born twins gary and Lauren took over when I had them early so I could concentrate on getting us better and we couldn’t recommend him anymore he changed everything for us.
