Aelfa Academy Of Dramatic Arts Description
Aelfa Academy of Dramatic Arts provides professional Degree a Level Courses in Acting & Performance to those who are aiming for a career in the performance industry.
All courses are validated with Degree Level Qualifications awarded by Trinity College London.
Core Studies: Acting, Movement & Voice
(With Acting at the centre of the training)
Expert Coaches: all our staff are expert working professional performers, directors & theatre makers - also coaching students at schools such as Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Italia Conti Act, Arts Educational School. Proving our students are receiving the same professional training but with a more 1-2-1 approach.
Funding is available and all advanced students receive agency representation.

Wonderful staff who help their students to create great work. I particularly loved their production of The Wiz which was professional and allowed their young actors to shine. You can tell that the students there have a great relationship with one another and it really shows through their work.

This is an Amazing Drama School, i have been to many of their productions. very talented and frienldy students,Great Directors and tutuors. Love ALL THEIR SHOWS. Would definitely recomend to those who are looking for a place in a London based Drama School.

Not just a drama school its more a theatre company, Learning what you love while putting it into practice. What could be better? First class training to get you where you need to go.
My home away from home. Aelfa hasn't just given me the tools and knowledge to develop my craft as a performer, it has also provided me with a family and support system whenever I need it. Friends who I continue to make work with and share many wonderful memories. I cannot recommend this school enough!
I studied at Aelfa Academy of Dramatic Arts for 3 years, graduating 2014 - I went there to train as a professional actor. It was the best experience I have ever had, as not only did I feel a part of a family, I was also always pushed beyond my limits to develop my performance skills. I loved coming in everyday to learn and practice all means of performance, from acting techniques such as Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Michael Chekhov, voice technique, one to one singing, movement classes, clowning, stage combat, stand up workshops, storytelling, LABAN, ballet, accent classes, performances, external performances, fringe opportunities, script writing. I can go on, we covered everything and it has now made me industry ready and excited to go for anything that comes my way. Aelfa made sure I had the performance experience during my training, I was in fringe productions, working with their theatre company, doing short films, and so much more. I couldn't recommend Aelfa Academy of Dramatic Arts enough. It was the best decision I have ever made and I know whoever chooses Aelfa for their next step of becoming a professional performer/ actor - you will be making the best choice.

I originally wanted to go to a university and study a different subject, but that truly was just a building, there was no soul, no buzz. Aelfa cultivates originality, passion, and the drive to be the very best. Whether it's contemporary dance, Chekhov, scriptwriting, acting for screen, clowning, voice, singing, there was no end to what I thought was attainable during my time at Aelfa. I wouldn't be the same person if it wasn't for everything I achieved at Aelfa, and I most definitely wouldn't be in this industry.
Aelfa is a fantastic place, it's a warm and friendly environment allowing everyone feel right at home to be truly welcome and part of a company. Its training standard are incredibly high learning all different techniques to help round you not only as an actor but as a performer. Highly recommended place to train in a fantastic location. οΏ½
