Hey Aeronauts! We will be holding by-elections for the role of AeroSoc Webmaster for the next year, since there were no candidates running for this position during the online elections. We've also decided to change the name of the role to "Media and Publicity Officer" to better reflect their responsibilities. Date and time of elections will be announced soon.
It will be a great chance for those of you who wanted to be part of the committee next year but didn't get a chance to... be elected to run! Newly elected Media and Publicity Officer will be responsible for editing the club’s print media such as yearbooks and other publications in addition to taking care of the website. However, as a committee member you are, of course, encouraged to help with everything else the society is doing! The full role description is available below:
---
The Media and Publicity Officer will be responsible for managing the club’s website and editing the club’s print media such as yearbooks and other publications. He/She will have the opportunity to create marketing packages and reach out to companies for sponsorship of the yearbook. Prior experience of using WordPress and familiarity with the basics of html/CSS are useful qualities for this role.
Time commitment 2/5
Prior experience: No
