Agar Nook Community Centre

Agar Nook Community Centre, hosts a number of activities and events which change constantly so keep an eye on this page for up dates.

The Centre is the hub for an Education provision called T. E. C. K, which operates daily during Term time from 9. 30am to 2. 30pm.

"50 Shades" Knit & Natter, Crochet & Chatter, meets every Wednesday 10. 00 am to 12 noon and Thursday 7. 00 to 9. 00 pm.
Little Knitters for boys and girls meets on a Thursday from 6. 00 to 7. 00 pm.

On Thursdays, our local residents group "Friends of the Nook" run a community cafe from the centre. This starts at 10. 30am with the community care cafe and continues from 12 with Gwens Den until 2pm.

Every Friday the tenants and residents group hoist Bouncy Nook, a parent and toddler group. Ideal for 0-5 year olds. Come along and join the fun 12-2. 30pm every friday.

On a Wednesday the dance group Limelight Performing Arts take over the hall and lots of children enjoy ballet, modern and tap lessons.

As well as other one-off events, advertised on this page we also offer out our rooms for hire. Ideal for a Party or meeting, give us a call to check availability.
