I see this manifest itself in so many people and these problems usually occur by struggling to be in the present moment!... • • • SO HOW CAN WE BE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT MORE OFTEN? • 1) RAISE AWARENESS ✨ Become more aware of how you are feeling in a moment - happy, sad, angry...😔😡😛 you can also be a mixture which will cause you obvious conflict, but that’s where this exercise will be awesome for you • 2) TALK TO YOURSELF ✨ I know this sounds weird and I’m sure most of you have seen the movie inside out... sooo... Talk to yourself! You are your best friend and greatest companion. Talk to your emotions as if they are characters in your own story in your head. Ask them why they’re here and what they want. (Be discreet and no one will hear you 😜) Become more aware in the process and understand yourself better in that moment! Our emotions are our greatest Allie to self-awareness and self-improvement 👭 • 3) CHOOSE ✨ Remember that YOU have a choice. Remember that every emotion has a dual force. If there is Ying there is Yang, if there is Happy there is Sad, Angry and Calm etc... Stretching is so important. It enables the body to be elastic and agile for better training but most importantly for optimal daily movement like bending down, picking things up, walking properly, pushing and pulling things, reaching for things etc. It will help you feel less stiff and make you more resistant to injury :D Here is a great article on upper body stretches.
