Trackday Films Director: Al Clark

Al has had a life-long passion and hobby for racing car and film. In 2008 he decided to go full time forming Trackday Films, specialising in car and motoring lifestyle related content exclusively.

Using his experience on the racing circuits, and his high level of attention to detail and film knowledge he has gone on to produce film and media content for major international car launches including Jaguar Land Rover Mercedes and Bentley, marketing virals and feature documentary’s including ‘Outsiders: Japan’, the cult underground hit documentary about the underground racing scene in Japan.

Working with skilled and trusted people, Trackday Films has become known for working fast and to a high standard under high pressure situations, both in studio and on location.

Al himself is an experienced camera operator (RED, Canon), and editor (FCP7 & X, Premiere) and has directed and produced productions from tiny ‘guerrilla’ units to 15 men production teams. He is also an accomplished track driver with over 1000 laps of the Nurburgring under his belt, and over 75, 000 track miles in cars from Mazdas to Porsches.
