Went to the Albion yesterday evening, Had a lovely meal with my Mum and Dad, food came out quickly despite how busy it was, floor staff looked rushed off their feet but were still very attentive, freindly, and helpful, especially our waitress Shana who was very polite and made us feel very welcome, will definitely be back soon, highly recommend this place ��

Went to albion 19th jan for a birthday celebration. There were about 18 of us and we had a great time. Service was brilliant. Staff were attentive, and friendly, food was hot and brought out together. Would like to say thank you to all the staff. Customer service goes a long way and i couldnt fault it.

Had the 8oz rump cooked to perfection by Curtis in the kitchen made my boyfriend a perfect dip it drench it burger was amazing followed by cherry bakewell yum

First time I’ve been since the refurbishment and have to say I was very impressed



I opted for the 10oz ribeye 🥩 cooked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection and very tasty. It also came with a free beer/wine = double winner !!!

Came here tonight with my family. The staff were really friendly and made us all feel welcome. The food was lovely too... also you as a buissness made my 5 year old daughters night. Music was on she was dancing around. And she was allowed to sing Frozen-Let it go. Her little face was a pictures. Would really like to thank you all and ill defo be returning in the future �

Came for a meal last Saturday with my kids, bar staff weren’t the most welcoming but our experience was made up for by how fast the food came out and how friendly the waitresses were, good value for money would recommend for families

After reading a post on facebook we were a bit wary of eating here. I have no idea what the problem was! Joe our waiter was great highly professional, great customer service just could not fault him. (cheers buddy). Food was not only great but good value for money and decent portions. Will be coming here again Thank you!!

First time here over the weekend. I felt for a Saturday there wasn't much staff behind bar poor bloke was running between doimg food orders and drinks. I then waited over half hour for my starter and nearly hour for main I no it was a weekend so things will be bit busier but felt was a tad too long. Also asked for sour cream with my breaded mushrooms which I got but only a tiny spoonful would of prefered bit more. Other than that I found it ok

First time I've been since the new management. Very average. Busy Sunday afternoon, they brought out our starters but forgot the kid's, and when we asked they rushed out 2 plates with 4 onion rings instead of the menu option which was described as a "stack" of 5 onion rings. My All-American southern - fried chicken was burnt and our garlic bread side wasn't brought out until we asked near the end of the meal. They were nice enough to swap it for 2 kids desserts, and I'm sure they've had better days, but this time it was average.

We were at the Albion Rainham yesterday, meeting up with friends, having driven down from Frinton on sea, my husband had a steak that was cold, the tomatoe from the fridge, only the chips were hot, we were disappointed to say the least, as this has always been our meeting place, well never again sorry.!!!!!!!!!

To say I was disappointed was an understatement. The food was not great at all. Food arrived wrong and didn't all come out together and was cold. I have been feeling sick since. The toilets are disgusting and the staff really don't listen at all. I can honestly say I probably won't ever return. Shame really!!!!

Staff were not very friendly waited a long time between meals and two deserts came out with the others. Didn’t rush to clean tables between courses either. Wouldn’t rush back

It’s lost it’s appeal, no atmosphere. Floor staff didn’t seem attentive, 3 times I asked for more napkins. I know it was busy, which explained the hour and half wait on food, but lack of interaction with staff dissapounted. As for ladies toilets, it’s awful, one was blocked and the other one is just too small, my daughter who is 9 months pregnant couldn’t fit in there!! Total disappointment after what was an ok pub!!!!!

Would give lower if I could. Took my mum out for a treat, firstly when we went to the bar we was met by a man who had clearly had enough. He was rude, didn’t listen to the order and took it down wrong, and continuously rolled his eyes. I am vegan and know this would not cater but as I said it was for my mum, so I was happy ordering plain nachos and chips. However what I got was my nachos covered in cheese, and my chips weren’t even put on the order! My mums chicken was dry aswell so not only did she have to ask where my chips were and be upset on my behalf but her dinner wasn’t even worth it. Would not come back.

Firstly my husband went up and placed our order. After 10-15 mins the guy who took the order came over to us and apologised as he had forgot to send the order through to the kitchen. We said it was fine as we were happy chatting and had our drink. A while later the waitress bought over 2 of our meals and left. We waited and waited but no 3rd meal. I called the waitress back and asked where was my daughters meal. When she checked it hadn't even been ordered. She said I'm sorry but I'll have to charge you and get it cooked asap. I wasn't impressed at all.

The table next to us got their main course but then asked where was their started. The waitress went back to the kitchen and then bought out their nachos starters to eat with their fish and chips and sausage and mash.

Staff seemed more interested in having a laugh with their friends than making sure the orders were going out correctly. I know it's cheap and cheerful but so is Harvester but they are still professional

Went 2 sundays ago with my parents and my 3 year old as knew it was now under new management so thought we'd give it another chance. Well the service was awful. The guy taking our order at the bar took 20 mins to take the order and pour our drinks. After this waited half an hour for our food. Fair enough it's busy on a Sunday we thought but they'd not put my parents food through so I asked to see the manager but another lady came out. She was apologetic and said she'd cook the 2 meals asap. Then she returned and said we would have to pay for them even though it was the barmans mistake. Well we said forget it and went to ingrebourne links for carvery instead. The only good thing was my steak was cooked well but I was too angry to eat it by then. �

Staff more interested in having a chat than serving customers. Messed up my food order, missed things off, to then be told it wasn't on my order lol joke. Will not be returning

OMG we was here tonight we’ll all I can say I won’t be returning, the food was cold and shit had to be returned by the time it came back was not hungry, we booked a table to be taken by someone else, so had to wait another half an hour then to be seated near the singer !!! Really!!! .Staff are rude full of young kids felt it was school disco night,the restaurant part was taken up by young adults not eating just sitting drinking not sure if they were the age for drinking. Then an argument broke out and one of the staff members said oh not again, take it this happens all the time ?? No management absolute joke. Get you act in order and sort this pub out one very unhappy customer 😡😡😡😡.

Kids pizza resembled a Chicago Town microwave pizza. Two roast beef dinners meat was so cold it felt like it had come from the fridge. When it was sent back it was warmed in the microwave, no stuffing and both had gravey dispite requesting one without. The steak was very fatty with the waitress forgetting the difference between rare and well done. Bland and microwaved food.
