Ally'S Dumplings Description
Growing up in China, my favorite time was during Chinese Luna New Year my whole family getting together to make dumplings. It is a deliciously social event. I want to bring this experience to more people.
In my cooking class, I will be teaching two types of dumplings:
- Turkey, Green Bean and Corn pot stickers (fried dumplings) starter
- Pork, Shrimp and Chive boiled dumplings
You will learn how to mix the fillings, make the dumplings and cook them. I have made modifications to the process, so you can easily replicate it at home.
On top of that, you will be learning how to make dumplings with some new friends.

42nd class spent with these 10 friends for a birthday celebration. Hannah, Chris's very thoughtful wife, booked the class for his birthday celebrating, inviting 8 other friends along. The class was full on fun from the first moment. They enjoyed the sunny patio, they made over 220 dumplings and most impressively, they ate all of them! This was the first class that there was no leftover to take home! Another thing I love about the class was that all the men are more into dumpling making than the girls! It was an absolute pleasure to host this super energetic group.

Ally is such a lovely teacher and made it all seem easy to do.

If you love food and want to try something new, go to Ally's dumpling class! I went to the class last Saturday and I can't recommend it enough. The class was very well organised and Ally showed us not only how to make dumplings but also shared a lot of insights on Chinese Cuisine. And the group was lovely. I had a great afternoon full of very yummy food, great conversation and laughs. 5/5!!
I had a great time attending one of Ally's classes. It's clear that Ally has a true passion for cooking, which is evident in her level of detail when providing guidance on dumpling techniques as well as the cultural history behind her recipes. The real joy, however, is the class setup: Ally creates a welcoming environment that allows guests from different social circles to connect and share a divine cooked meal together.

I do not eat meat or dairy products. Ally still accommodated me very kindly in her class and prepared special ingredients to make plant-based dumplings!

Excellent & authentic experience! Strongly reccomend it to anyone who is looking for an unique experience for a weekend in London. We've spent a fun, delightful Sunday afternoon at Ally's this past weekend. I will probably go there again and have some more delicious dumplings :) The best part is that at the end there is also a goodie bag with even more dumplings to take home :D
