"Raw or cooked? That is the question! Since rhubarb is very sour, it is rarely eaten raw. Rhubarb is almost always cooked, sweetened with sugar or used as an ingredient. It is most commonly found in jams, sauces, cakes or crumbles. Speaking of crumbles: We promise you a really delicious recipe: Rhubarb Crumble - have you tried it?
Here you can find the recipe:" Rhabarber-Crumble
... Persons 4 Calories per person 486 Timings Preparation time 20 Min. baking 15 Min.
Characteristics Low cholesterol, rich in vitamins
Ingredients 100 g wheat flour 50 g buckwheat flour 120 g sugar 1 Prise salt 100 g soft butter 500 g rhubarb 1 Päckchen vanilla sugar 2 TL cornflour Powdered sugar for dusting some whipped cream or vanilla cream yoghurt for serving Preparation
1 . Put the flour, 50 g sugar, salt and butter in a mixing bowl and crumble into crumbs. Place in a cool place.
2 . Clean the rhubarb, cut into pieces of about 2 cm, put into a pot dripping wet, mix with the remaining sugar and vanilla sugar and leave to stand for about 15 minutes.
3 . Sprinkle with cornflour and stir in. Place pot on Navigenio and set it at level 6. Switch on Audiotherm, fit it on Visiotherm and turn it until the vegetable symbol appears.
4 . As soon as the Audiotherm beeps on reaching the vegetable window, stir the rhubarb and sprinkle with crumble.
5 . Place pot in the inverted lid, place Navigenio overhead and set at low level. While the Navigenio flashes red/blue, enter about 15 minutes in the Audiotherm and bake until light brown.
6 . Let the crumble cool down a little, dust with icing sugar and serve with cream or vanilla cream yoghurt.
Tips It looks very nice when you cut the crumble with a round cookie cutter (Ø 8 cm). Then lift it out of the pot with a spatula or cake slice and put it on a plate.
Buckwheat flour gives the crumble a fine nutty taste. You get the freshly ground flour in the health food store, alternatively you can also add finely ground almonds or hazelnuts.

"Our ingredient of the month is not only a low-calorie filler, but also helps our digestion. Thanks to the large amounts of swelling and fibre, rhubarb provides plenty of satiety despite its low calorie content (21 kcal / 100 gr). Rhubarb contains fibre which is important for a healthy intestine. But beware - only the stems are edible. The high content of oxalic acid makes the leaves poisonous. Do you know any other vegetables or fruit that we eat but are actually poisonous?"

"Easter bunny, but different - it doesn't always have to be chocolate.
A great alternative to the chocolate rabbit is our yeast dough Easter bunny.
Jump straight to the recipe:"
... Easter bunnies
For 6 pieces Baking mix (approx. 500 g) Or: 1/2 cube fresh yeast 250 ml lukewarm milk 80 g sugar 450 g flour 1 pinch salt 80 g soft butter 1 egg
For smearing 1 egg yolk 2 tbsp. milk Raisins, almond flakes and sugar crystals for decoration
Prepare baking mix according to instructions on the pack or prepare dough as given below:
1. Crumble yeast and add to milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of flour and mix everything well. Cover the pre-ferment and let it stand in a warm place until the volume has clearly increased. 2. Mix remaining flour in a bowl with salt and make a hole in it. Add pre-ferment, remaining sugar, the butter and egg and knead everything to make a smooth dough. Cover and let it stand again in a warm place for approx. 45 minutes.
Shaping and baking
3. Mix egg yolk and milk. Knead dough again and divide into six portions. 4. First, shape each portion into a thick roll. Take off approx. 1/3 of it for the head and shape into an oval. Cut the oval at the short side so that head and ears are formed. Shape remaining dough into a long thin roll of about 25 cm, place like an inverted “6” so that forelegs, body and tail are formed. Smear bunnies with the mixed egg yolk. 5. Use a lid (24 cm) to cut out a circle of baking paper. Place the pot on the Navigenio and switch it to level 6. Switch on Audiotherm, place on Visiotherm and turn until the roasting symbol appears. 6. Switch the Navigenio off and place baking paper in the pot. Place two bunny bodies on the baking paper, place each head in the right position and press it onto the body. 7. Place one raisin for each eye and almond flakes for the middle of the ear, sprinkle stomach with sugar crystals. 8. Set pot in the inverted lid and place the switched off Navigenio on it. Pre-bake approx. 5 minutes, then set Navigenio at low level and use the Audiotherm, bake approx. 8-10 minutes until complete. 9. Bake the remaining bunnies in the same way, keep the Navigenio at level 3 while placing and decorating the bunnies in the pot
Baking time: approx. 12 minutes Preparation time: approx. 60 minutes (excluding waiting time) approx. 470 kcal per person (when dough is homemade)

"With only approx. 25 kcal per 100 g, spinach is a real lightweight. Whether steamed, raw or in pasta dishes, the rich green vegetable is an all-rounder and can be used in many ways.
You can recognize fresh spinach by its bright green colour and crunchy leaves - if you can't process it immediately, it's best to store it in a damp cloth in the vegetable compartment of your fridge. It will stay fresh for two days."
