What a load of rubbish!! I feel annoyed and disgraced that the chair of a blind charity is not supporting the very people the charity was put in place to support.
I am a visually impaired actor and know many more, as well as actors with other disabilities. The opportunities just aren’t there, so when they do come along and are given to non disabled actors how on earth are we supposed to react or get a chance?
The best people to play disabled people are disabled people. The ...research and life experience is already there.
“Blacking up” is no longer allowed so why is “Cripping up” still tolerated?
