Led by Executive Chef, Gary Foulkes, Angler is a dazzling Michelin-starred restaurant on the top floor of South Place Hotel. A favourite of gastronomes, romantics and power lunchers. With seafood at its heart, the ever-changing menu features only seasonal and carefully sourced produce. To complement, Head Sommelier, Benoit Allauzen has compiled an extensive wine list of bottles from both the new and old world.
For special occasions, Angler’s Chef’s View is a semi-private table seating up to 14, showing our chefs at work and vistas of iconic City landmarks such as The Gherkin and the Salesforce Tower (previously The Heron Tower).

This summer we see the Angler Terrace celebrate the beauty of Summer and sparkling wines in partnership with England’s finest sparkling wine, Nyetimber.
Throughout the summer months, Nyetimber will be offering a special menu of four Nyetimber wines by the glass as well as two exclusive cocktails on the Angler Terrace, the rooftop terrace looking out across London.
Come and experience these delicious drinks alongside complementary dishes. Focusing on the best of British produc...e, enjoy bar bites including crispy Cornish squid, to succulent rabbit and chorizo rice balls or a tomato and basil flatbread with a fragrant herb pesto.
Come rain or shine, guests can enjoy the beauty of the terrace with its magnificent floral wall and be immersed in the Nyetimber world in the heart of the City. Guests will also have the potential to book onto private Nyetimber tasting masterclasses.

It’s been a very nice evening last Thursday. Tibor has delivered an excellent service. We’ve come to this restaurant many times, to celebrate Birthday, family dinner.
The dish is always well presented and taste amazing. I am not a sea food person, however this restaurant has changed my mind.
Will definitely visit it again and recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

Very lovely food, very friendly service. Had the tasting menu with wine pairing, whilst the food was lovely, at points the portions were stingey- the cheese course in particular. Whilst nothing was really wrong, the final bill didn’t match with the real top end service and food you would get in similar restaurants in London.
Superb, delicately flavoured food presented and served with care and passion. Unfortunate to wait thirty minutes for the bill after requesting it. But this was an exception to the otherwise attentive service.
It has been a fabulous day with my daughter at the Angler restaurant for mother’s day.The staffs was very welcoming above all we sat on a special table.

I have been to Angler many times - socially for dinner and for business lunches. I love the setting and the seafood focus to the menu. Starters and mains are excellent. Seafood is well cooked and the flavours are great. I find desserts are often a bit disappointing and overly sweet - however on the last occasion I visited they had a chocolate caramel soufflé on the menu which was excellent. I hope this is a sign of things to come and the quality of desserts is more consistent in the future. Service is generally good. Well worth a visit.
