Anglian Flight Centres At Earls Colne Airfield Egsr Description
Anglian Flight Centres is a professional, friendly flight school located at Earls Colne Airfield in the heart of the Essex Golf and Country Club, and home to the well respected Essex Air Ambulance.
Here at AFC, you will find a warm, welcoming atmosphere at our club house, with plenty of coffee or tea to drink while you chat with other pilots and students about flying experiences.
We offer Private Pilot Licence (PPL), and National Private Pilot Licence (NPPL) courses as well as ratings for night, advanced PPL, co-pilots course, aerobatics and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) otherwise known as the IR(R). We also offer official differences training, as well as WARBIRD experiences.
Having learnt to fly, many of our members have continued training with us to an advanced level, and then gone into the professional world of instructor or airline pilot.
You are bound to make new friends whilst learning to fly, and will be able to get together once you have your licence to explore airfields further afield.

Don’t forget as the weather gets warmer, the air get’s Less dense, aircraft performance is reduced so it is important to work out your Density Altitude and Weight and balance.
