Anthony Simon first opened it's doors in the summer of '67, at the not too distant location of Wilton Road. It was here that Tony Lavene and Anthony Russell began to create their legacy. . . one haircut at a time.

Fast Forward to 1996, when a young Ben joined the team as a junior, eager to both learn and impress. The following year, a shy but hardworking young lady, Terri also joined the team. Working all available hours, under the ever watchful eyes of their two very dynamic bosses, both Ben and Terri slowly climbed the ranks to become the outgoing, fun loving hairdressers we know and love today.

Due to ever increasing rents, and the untimely passing of Mr Tony Lavene; on Christmas Eve 2005, Anthony Simon was forced to close it's (Wilton Road) doors for the last time. However all was not lost, as Ben and Terri teamed up to form their own dynamic duo and took up residence at number 19 Denbigh Street; taking with them not only the well known name, but all of their much loved clients.

in September 2011, the Anthony Simon team was thrilled to be joined by the very well known, and highly recommended Matthew George Hairdressing (formerly of "Art of Hair"), who although works for himself, has well and truly become a part of the family.

Unfortunately, in October 2011 the salon lost another member of it's team, as Mr Anthony Russell passed away; however with both his and Tony's expertise combined, Ben and Terri are ensuring that their legacy will live on forever. . .
