Arion Productions Ltd was formed in 2012 with the primary goal of providing opportunities for theatre-makers and brave, artistic productions.

Arion Productions Ltd was formed in 2012 by its current Artistic Director Andrew Keates with co-founder Andrew Harmer with the primary goal of presenting theatrical pieces based on artistic merit alone. At Arion, ‘the work’ is paramount.

We are passionate about developing the professionals within the theatre industry, providing opportunities to work alongside experienced and successful professionals to learn by doing. Arion seeks out the best actors and actresses and fold them all together into a high quality, artistic production often with a theatrical intent to give a voice to marginalised members of society or controversial subject matters.

Previous Arion productions include, The White Feather (Union Theatre), As Is and Dessa Rose (Trafalgar Studios), Passing By (Tristan Bates Theatre), As Is, Passing By and Rooms: A Rock Romance (Finborough Theatre) and A Winter’s Tale (Landor Theatre), which won Best New Musical in the 2012 OffWestEnd Awards.

In 2016, Arion launched a new programme of events called, Portfolio Masterclasses. These one day only events give performers the opportunity to learn specialist skills with exceptional artists, such as Jenny Galloway, Abigail Matthews, Annette Badland and more to be announced.
