Outstanding customer service from Lydia at Arlo & Jacob. The fabric for my Poirot chair was out of stock which meant it could not be delivered in time for Christmas, so Lydia arranged for us to borrow the showroom chair (same fabric) over Christmas until ours is ready. Absolutely above and beyond what we expected - thank you, Lydia, and well done Arlo and Jacob for such thoughtful customer care!

My wife and I purchased two snugglers and a blanket box from Arlo & Jacob and they're brilliant. The showroom staff were very helpful during the process.

Two years ago I would have said how amazing both the products and the customer service was. We bought 2 crushed velvet mulberry Darcy sofas . Look amazing . BUT the Stainguard guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. ONE glass of water ruined a sofa 4 months ago and still I am fighting to get a result. I wound never buy these sofas again - we are retired with no pets and look after them carefully. ...but you can’t actually try to sit on them - easily gets shiny or heaven forbid drink water anywhere near them .

Turned up 45 minutes late and garlic bread was cold.



Other than that was ok.

I was quite disappointed with my Pembroke corner sofa. The one in the showroom looked great but the one delivered to me did not look nearly so good. Some of seat cushions are overstuffed so that, overall, they do not fit properly and have to be squeezed together which makes them crease at the edges. One cushion has no stuffing in one corner so the fabric just sags. It seems impossible to get the back cushions neatly aligned as well. I called A & J who suggested I had misplaced the cushions - which I hadn't as it turned out. They sent a company called Homeserve to take a look. A very large man came round and pummelled the life out of the cushions in an effort to make them fit together - and confirmed, incidentally, that they were correctly situated - but I didn't think they looked significantly better and I wouldn't be able or willing to wrestle with them like this on a daily basis as he suggested I should. He tried to move the stuffing back into the corner of the unstuffed cushion but it still looks just the same. He said he would report to A & J and I didn't hear anything further. It is comfortable and it looks alright but, on the basis of my experience, I can't say I would recommend this sofa.
