Hi everyone.. please help. A black and white cat has gone missing in stansted, just like the cat that visits the college grounds from time to time. It is a cat that looked just like Bilbo the old college cat. Her little family are very sad and miss her so much. If you have seen this cat when you have been at the college and have a photo of it, please post it here so we can identify whether the visiting cat is the missing one. We thank you very much and we will keep you posted if there is any news, meanwhile here is a photo of the missing cat so you can sent healing thoughts to the cat and her family for a safe reunion xxx

Happy Birthday Arthur Findlay! The Anniversary of the Birth of James Arthur Findlay 16th May 1883 – 24th July 1964
... Today we celebrate a very special birthday anniversary, that of our late Pioneer of Spirit Mr James Arthur Findlay who was born on 16th May 1883 Arthur was a stockbroker, and born in Glasgow in 1883. He was a descendant of the ancient kings of Scotland, and was friends with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes. He was also an accountant, a farmer, a magistrate and an author.
He was the first landowner to have a herd of Tuberculosis tested cows in England. He loaned Stansted Hall to the MOD in the 2nd World War to be used as a convalescent hospital and was awarded an M.B.E in recognition for his services. When Arthur died in 1964, Arthur left his private home Stansted Hall (the Arthur Findlay College) to the Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) for the Advancement of Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences. His body is buried in the St Mary’s Church at the bottom of the college garden. His beloved wife Gertrude is buried beside him. Memorial for Arthur Findlay The Arthur Findlay College erected a memorial in 2014 in his name in the grounds on the Stansted Hall Estate. Arthurs wish was to have the memorial and it was designed to his exact specification and is located exactly where he instructed. Funds were raised by college students and people that love and appreciate Arthur Findlay’s work. Happy Birthday Arthur Findlay!

i loved the atmosphere and the staff and tutors were so friendly and helpful. They passed on some of their pearls of wisdom too, which was great. We also met some lovely people from around the world, and bumped into some friends from another church. I can't wait to be able to attend for a week. Thank you very much for a lovely day!

What an amazing week with Eamonn Simone and Lynn, it was so nice to mix with the other course taking place the same week. Grounds were beautiful which I hope reflects in the photos I took during the week

Went to the college for the first time for open week, what an Amazing experience!Everyone was so lovely the staff were amazing,so helpful and always a smile on their faces,The college itself has an beautiful energy and the grounds are breathtaking! ..I can't wait to go back �

My first residential course for 7 days at the college. I enjoyed every moment. I booked a double room and was given a 3 bedroom which was roomey. Very modern and clean. I attended the demonstrating medium course with Tony Stockwell, Lynn Probert, Kitty Woud, Simone Key. All the tutors were brilliant and I've learnt so much. The grounds of the house are beautiful and there is a nice walk around the area if you want to get out and stretch your legs. The food was excellent even though having two dinners every day! Not good for the waist line but delicious and all the staff work really hard. I felt the experience on hospitality was as good as a 5 star hotel so that will give you a good idea. Enjoy every moment and the wonderful experience here at Stansted Hall and thank you. I'm already booked for another course next year. �

It's wonderful place to learn and expand. Staying a the college is an experience like no other in the most positive ways. The wonderful tutors, diverse student body, the beautiful setting, it's historical significance and energy are all inspiring.

If your serious about your spiritual and mediumship development then this is the best place in the world to visit for courses of development . Its not only known for having the best tutors in all aspects of mediumship and development but also the variety of subject on offer

I've loved the courses that I've taken through the college and the special friendships I made with people from around the world. I love the community that was created through the courses directed by Simon James and Brian Robertson and the tutors.

I visited Arthur Findlay College for the first time at Open week. I loved everything about it and can't wait to be back in August.

I love the college - it's an incredible building , full of the most incredible energy . Stunningly beautiful gardens & excellent courses . I've just been on the Experimental mediumship course with Minister Martin Colclough & Minister Kim Moore Cullen . It was a really interesting & fun course . It was Very different in format & content & we got some exciting results from the experiments .

We also got to see Sharon Harvey do a Trance healing seance . Great week with fantastic people . Can't wait for next year .

I cannot even imagine a better place!!!

A beautiful place of learning where love and laughter are free!

I've been attending the College since the mid 1990's and return every year. Even though I've been teaching since 1998 I believe we never stop learning and it's good, for me, as a tutor, to remember what it's like to be a student.

As for the building, the bedrooms and the food etc etc Manager Tanya Smith has made the most wonderful improvements to them all. I don't think I've ever seen a College with such comfortable rooms!

Thankyou for another enlightening week! See you next year!
