Artventurers Croydon, Bromley And Lambeth

Our St. Mildred's ARTventurers loved our spaghetti swamp, were they got to create and make their Shrek paper plates. They ran into the Gingerbread Man and decorated him colourfully and even put a smile on Donkey's face.
It was a truly fun session and it was nice to see many Babies and Little ARTventurers having so much creative fun (not forgetting the Dad's too!)
New term bookings now available - we're now on annual leave, but back on Friday 7th September at St. Mildred's Centre, Addiscombe, 9:30am start.

What an absolute pleasure it was to make slime with our ARTVenturers at St. Mildred's.
They thoroughly loved the process and now have the confidence to make their very slime.
Next ARTventurers session 'Shrek' is at Layhams Farm on Tuesday 14th August at 10:30am. Come and join in our latest family creative class.

Our Layhams Farm ARTventurers thoroughly enjoyed their time in Neverland, playing in the green sensory rice, digging for treasures in our sandpit and trapping Tinker Bell in a Jar with plenty of pixie glitter dust and where they got to make their very own feathered headbands, even our adult ARTventurers got into the fun 😁😁😁
Come and join us and meet all the fairy tale creatures. We're back on Friday 10th August 2018 at 9:30am @ St. Mildred's Centre with our Shrek and friends.

Our Beckenham Baptist ARTventurers thoroughly enjoyed their Peter Pan theme.
Their 'lost boys' headbands were so adorable, the green sensory rice and sand was their idyllic hideaway, explored all the paint textures, dipping their feet and hands and where they could play to their hearts content .....😃😃😃
Even Captain Hook, couldn't stop their fun!

With a bit of Pixie Dust, our ARTventurers just knew how to enjoy their Peter Pan theme at St. Mildred's.
They got to make their own feathered headbands even scribbling their names on them, trapped Tinker Bell in the glass jar using glitter for their magical dust, and joined the Lost Boys in having as much fun as they could muster in the sandpit, and avoided the wicked Captain Hook and the hungry crocodile 🦕
Come and join our next session, a world full of fun 'Neverland'. We're back on Monday 6th August at Beckenham Baptist Church at 10:30am.

Such an amazing Wizard of Oz theme with our Layhams Farm ARTventurers.
They loved the spaghetti sensory tray with so many wonderful colours to play in. They loved putting together the characters of our theme - the Lion was Courageously decorated, and our Scarecrow was given his desire for Brains and our Tinman was given a Heart and Dorothy her Ruby Red Slippers.

When they're quiet ....... it's got to be too good to be true!!

We endured the heat and had a fabulous day with our ARTventurers during our Build A ...... Meerkat today.
They had fun stuffing their 16" toys, and putting a bit of Love (Hearts) in them, then designing their very own personalised T-Shirts for their toys. They walked away with a smile on their faces and their Meerkats snuggly on their backs. 😃

We're off to see a Wizard, a wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Our Beckenham Baptist ARTventurers had a thoroughly good time at our Wizard of Oz theme, playing along our yellow brick road towards the Emerald City, creating their Scarecrow, Tin Man and their Courageous Lion.
We'll be heading to Streatham Library on Thursday 26th July at 10:30am for another session with our wonderful theme.

We had an amazing class with our St. Mildred's ARTventurers yesterday. They thoroughly loved their Snow White theme from all the sticking and gluing of their dwarves, creating their red apples and their magic looking glass. It was fun to see some cheeky pictures of them playing with our sensory cous cous - even pretending our scooping cups were slippers! 🤣🤣. Our ARTventurers sitting down adoringly in a line waiting for their snacks and refreshments 😍😍
We're back next week with our Holiday Classes (for the next 4 weeks!) with our Wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Shrek themes including our Build a Meerkat workshop and Slime Workhop.

Weekly themed, fun, creative arts and crafts activities ideal for all the family -babies as young as 6 months, toddlers, and children 5+ years in Croydon, Bromley and surrounding areas.
Each week, we have different themed based activities including sensory play, soft play, as well as arts and crafts activities lasting for 1 hour.
We create the fun, atmosphere with songs, entertainment to help babies and children with their personal and social development from sensory and crea...tive activities, that improve development, together with soft play, messy play centred around our activity trays.
Our classes begin with our circle time of lively warm up song and dance, then an introduction to our theme for the class.
The children are provided with a number of activities (age appropriate) for them to engage in, whether it be our sensory trays, or softplay area or participating in the arts and crafts activities. We understand that some children will start something and quickly move onto another activity because there is so much for them to do, but this how they learn through exploring things. It is important that we allow them to explore each activity and decide what they would like to do. Over time, you will find that your child becomes familiar with the format of the classes and notice that they have developed skills in certain areas and becoming increasingly more confident in their arts and crafts activities.
Towards the end of the class, we provide refreshments for all the children as well as our parents/carers.
Finally, before we say our goodbyes’ we have a great opportunity for more circle time, singing and dancing, bubble time before stickers and home time!
