Ascot Locomotive Society

Ascot Locomotive Society is a donation funded club run by railway enthusiasts. We run on the first Sunday of the month from April to October from 2-4pm

We are a friendly club of miniature railway lovers. We run on the first Sunday of the month from April to October. We are not a business and solely rely on donations from the public to keep going. We pay rents, lighting, heating etc. Running our trains and charging the batteries or purchasing the coals is expensive.

Over the past year we have had many lovely visitors and many will remember us as a "free" site to visit. We have had a lease change recently on the land which means that we now have to sign every visitor in as a member for that day. This means that we have had to put a charge on entry of £10 per family. This cannot be helped and we hope you understand and am sure you will agree that it is money well spent!
We still ask for donations for teas, coffees and delicious cakes. It's these extra donations that really help our club run.
The monies we raise are poured back in to the club and help pay for the cups, edibles, coals and sundries to keep our trains on the tracks.

As well as our running days, we also hold private birthday parties if you want one, from all ages from 1 to 100. If you are interested, please email ascotloco@hotmail.com.

All we ask is that you do NOT host your birthday party on a running day. If you are attending and hosting an unauthorised party you will be asked to kindly leave the site as this breaches many Health and Safety rules that we have to abide by as a club.
