Their bottomless Prosecco lunch is great value and the food was fab! Lovely surroundings and lovely staff. Would thoroughly recommend if you’re after a relaxing lunch in a nice environment

User

The Saturday Brunch and bottles Prosecco are great value for money. Food was wonderful and the top ups plentiful. The live DJ really sets the atmosphere. Reminded me of Friday Brunches in Dubai, highly recommend!!

User

Soo good. Bottomless prosecco brunch. Good foox and nice staff :-) loved the coffee...my latte was served at a correct temperature....not boiling as most of the times in coffee shops around London

User

Lovely atmosphere, great service and delicious cocktails. What more can I say?! Will definitely be recommending and returning.

User

Lovely afternoon. Great food and the atmosphere is just right - well furnished and I loved the cutlery 😂 - nice vibe and great sounds!!

User

I worked for Helena years ago and was so thrilled to see she still has the same lightness of touch, everything was so fresh and delicious. It was such a pleasure.

User

I really like Aster. It has a fab atmosphere and I love the food. The one in Victoria is lovely. The one negative for me is the service charge which is added without consent which is more than 10%.

User

Great food and fantastic service. Live DJ for brunch on Saturday which made for a great atmosphere. Definitely returning soon.

User

Food, wine and service exceptional. Staff absolutely delightful. Excellent value considering the quality. We had a lovely evening. Would recommend and will return.

User

Excellent lunch and great service. The staff were perfectly attentive and the food sublime. All in all, for five of us, it was great value.

User

Cocktails, amazing🎉🎉, food fabulous and the staff very warm and friendly, can’t wait to return!!!

User

Brunch was delicious, as always. The fishcake in particular was excellent. The cocktails were just right for a summer day - raspberry and strawberry sorbet refreshing and fruity. Love the bar too so we popped back later for beer and a restorative g&t from the wide selection. Never disappoints. One of my favourite places.

User

Afternoon tea with a difference, it was lovely different but lovely, I think it was a Scandinavian but it was good, it's nice to try different things that you would not usually try and having the afternoon tea gave us the opportunity, we teamed it with cocktails and tea, the staff was very helpful, explaining the different food and it was extremely good value for money. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and was nice and comfortable seating, you can just use the bar for cocktails if you wish, I would imagine that this is a great place to stop of for a drink before you head home or great to meet up with friends as it is very near Victoria station. Will differently return the next time w e re in London

User

Went with friends for an after work meal. I had the cod which was luke warm, which i told the staff. Who changed it for another one, but the fish portion was slightly smaller lol never the less our meal was tasty and we got a second round of complimentary breads which were lovely. It was quiet being a week night but we didn't mind that. The service was good and the decor was lovely . The price was reasonable - two courses with sides and half a bottle of wine about £50 pp. All in all we had an enjoyable evening.

User

The ambience was very nice. We were seated immediately off the street without a reservation. The food was very good and the staff friendly and efficient.

User

Last minute and very late dinner! Staff could not be more helpful. Food was fantastic.

User

I have eaten downstairs in the cafe several times and have been very happy. We therefore looked forward with great expectations to a game and wine dinner upstairs fronted by eminent chef Tom Kitchin and resident chef Helena. Tom was charming and took the trouble to come round and talk to each guest. His scripted presentation at the start was very interesting. But he was not working in the kitchens on Monday evening so could not oversee what was being served in his name. I told him we found the result disappointing

The opening canapes were good, especially the black pudding in flaky pastry. The game consomme and the saddle of venison were undistinguished as the meat was not recognisable. We liked the kefir mousse to complete.

Of the accompanying wines, I felt the South African chenin blanc had the most flavour and aroma. The welcome gin and mint cocktail was good.

The loos here - for men at least - are very compact!

There is a lift from ground to first floor, from which the views of Victoria's redevelopment are striking.

User

Came for a celebration Brunch with bottomless Prosecco. The celebration was wonderful but in my opinion Aster is overrated and overpriced for a plate of food with no garnish, no accompanying vegetables or salad unless you purchase them and the prosecco only topped up if you take sips not drink the glass empty. The service was terrible and although we had all pre ordered the meals were wrong for some people and one person was missed off. SO, I say again this is my opinion, but would I go for a meal again, NO.

User

We attended a lovely Jasmine Hemsley brunch event. Jasmine was charming, came to chat to us and her food was delicious. Sadly the service and efficiency of the event was shocking! We were made to wait outside in the freezing cold, waited for our table which had been pre booked and thentold they had run out of some of the drinks after only 5mins. A bit of a let down I’m afraid.
