About Axis Supplementary Schools
Axis Supplementary Schools follow the literacy and numeracy programme developed by the Axis Educational Trust which is a registered charity (no: 1041474) that has been providing education services since 1994. Our core area of work is to help counter underachievement for all children by focusing on core skills such as literacy, numeracy, and creative thinking.
Axis Educational Trust now has two separate educational services.
First, we offer a Supplementary School service for children aged 5-14 at our branches up and down the country, providing literacy and numeracy programmes at our Saturday schools and at after-school clubs.
Second, we run the Shine @ Axis programme in Tottenham which offers support in reading, writing, arithmetic, and creative thinking to KS1 and KS2 pupils from disadvantaged areas. This project has been running for three years and has so far helped some 300 children along their educational journey.
