The New York Times covers the latest development in the Food World, with the newest awards show, The World Restaurant Awards, held in Paris this week. The Restaurant of the Year was Wolfgat (pictured) in Paternoster, South Africa, about 100 miles north of Cape Town. A rustic spot in a beach cottage where the chef, Kobus van der Merwe, forages from land and sea with the help of locals, it also won for top Off-Map Destination.
