Wow. I honestly can not express enough how pleased and impressed we have been with Ballards today. Used them to move house and they were fab! Moved our 6 bed house from UK to Prague single handily... nothing broken, no delays, they worked their socks off and they did it all very professionally and with a smile. It was no small job and we've done it a few times now, but this one was the best by far thanks to them! I am always going to use them in the future... I suggest you do to!

They made my moving house almost a fun thing to do. The lads in the day worked so hard and are fabulous at problem solving when trying to move awkward furniture through even more awkward gaps. The office staff were great in the run up to the move too. This was four years ago and was the week before Christmas but I would give them a 5* thumbs up and if we are ever crazy enough to move again we would use them. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too and worth every penny

Our home move initially involved container hire/self storage, van hire and then finally removal from the UK mainland to the Isle of Wight. Every aspect was completely professional with attention to detail at all times. Absolutely nothing was any trouble whatever. Complete flexibility and peace of mind. Moving home is probably one of the most stressful life events ever. Ballards were key in reducing our stress and worry. I have nothing but praise for my moving day experience with Ballards. Having moved over ten times and had nightmarish experiences in the past this was first class all the way from the quote to the day of the move. The guys on the truck were fantastic and as a pregnant lady moving on my own with my partner away I understandably was a bit stressed but five mins after they turned up I was relaxed, and amazed at how quickly, efficiently and safely they worked. Ballards packed and moved us last week. In an age where no one seems to have much pride in being professional, we were blown away by the fantastic service we received. Everything packed with care and questions asked. Friendly, willing, hard working, professional. The previous owners were late leaving so suddenly, there were 3 more staff to help the 4 we already had to get our belongings in quickly. They literally ran our stuff into the house but still happy and friendly. Can’t praise them highly enough, amazing!

At first we decided to go cheap with a small local firm from Lincoln, thinking that Ballard’s were going to be too expensive. However a week before moving day they let us down, so we called Ballard’s and within 3 hours they had come round, quoted and we had signed and guess what, they were cheaper!

Moving day: the team turned up on time, they were helpful, fast, tidy and extremely friendly. We had a lot of stuff and the guys worked incredibly hard. We kept them plied with coffee and biscuits and they all worked until the job was done.
