Ballougry Integrated Community Playgroup

Ballougry Playgroup aims to provide safe, secure and stimulating environment which is fun and child-centered for children aged 2yrs 10mths to 4yrs old

We at Ballougry provide a fun, friendly environment where the children can reach their full potential through stimulating play opportunities.

We aim to provide an environment where children can develop socially, independently, physically and emotionally.

We are registered by the Western health and Social care trust to provide child care for children aged between 2 years 10 months and 4 years. We are registered for a maximum of 24 children. As we are a charity we do rely on the fees from parents and fundraising events throughout the year.

We offer Full-time places and Part-time places (3 days per week)

All our staff members are trained to a very high standard. We ensure our staff complete mandatory training for child protection, fire training, first aid and basic food hygiene certificate.

We begin the day with circle time sharing stories and singing songs. Then the children have free play with a buffet style snack. When we tidy up we gather for a story before moving on to our planned activity following themes and the interests of the children. This is followed by physical activity either indoor or outdoors weather permitting. We finish the day singing songs and rhymes.
