Me and a group of lads came for my friends stag do on sat 6th Feb. I can honestly say we weren't sure what to expect before coming as reading some negative reviews.



Now we have been it shows how wrong a lot of people are. The comedians were very good and current, the staff could not done any more for us and we're always making sure we were topped up with drinks and that we were having a good time. I know people have different experiences. If you read the negative ratings they all or most start with " we was having a good time until", so it shows they were having a good time until they got too drunk or was told no. I would definitely recommend made us feel very welcome.

First off, yes since the start of the year I have had a bad experience with bar rumba but as a company they're amazing at valuing their customers feedback, over the past couple of months I've seen changes at bar rumba that have moved their club from an 'OK' night to an amazing night!! They have refurbished the booth VIP seating areas and made sure the process of being seated and attended too is quick and the staff are always polite and well informed!!

I have noticed they have got new and more bouncers/security and, based on recent encounters are very professional and extremely friendly!

The drinks prices have gone up a little bit but it is worth it because the quality of drinks are amazing!

The music from the dj on a Friday night is amazing if you like rnb and even though there is lots of people he will do shout outs for special occasions.

Bar rumba is in the perfect location as for night busses to lots of areas are only a 10 minute walk away.

I would definitely recommend rumba to anyone looking for a an amazing night and disregard any of the previous negative reviews as for bar rumba has improved for the better!!

TigerTiger closed early and my friend and I got a stamp to come to the after party (Rumba) honestly I had an amazing time the music was just perfect, there was good vibes but the only thing that went wrong was how a bar member was rude to my friend like she waited to be served and whilst she was saying what she wanted the bar guy rudely moved on to someone else. Customer service is vital.

I would recommend this place ,I met some really cool people and the staff were friendly

The place looked nothing like the photos and was a lot smaller than I thought.

£10 for a Bacardi and Coke is a lot of money and staff were rude.

Not going back again even though iv been offered a free area and fishbowl I don't feel like it's a good place to go

This place has gone to pot, used to be good laugh years ago, now you have to put up with pricks on the door and over priced watered down drinks.

Good comedy night. Cocktails watered down so ordered a double vodka in both mine and my friend's drink to make it up...really isn't cheap (and don't think you get what you pay for). I guess it's the centre of London so that's what you expect.

*Warning About the Guestlist* We had an email confirming we are on the guestlist however when we got to the door we were not on the printed list. Apparently we added ourselves to the list too late even though it does not state that anywhere on the website or on the confirmation email. This meant we were asked to pay entry. When I disputed this and pointed out that it was false advertising, I was very disappointed in the way the staff behaved. Instead of having a discussion and being apologetic for the "confusion" of when you can add yourself to guess list they got on a power trip and just refused entry. Really unprofessional. We went somewhere else for a dance where we had a really good night.

Worst eg of homophobia from the DJ last night - grabbed a guy by his neck and called him a transvestite when he requested a Ru Paul song. Then bouncers got their friends to leave by bringing it to management. It’s 2018, like wtf. Never going here again.

They only get 1 star for the music the rest was awful!!! Security staff were so rude!!!! No pleases or thank you’s then when I went to complain at the door I was ignored! Drink prices are extortionate and all staff were disgustingly rude to customers I would never go here again unless they changed the staff music however was very good

The worst place ever. The security guys were walking around and keep telling movie here, don't put your drinks here, don't stand here. We couldn't relax and enjoy our night out on Saturday. We were asked to pay entry fee £10.00 each (4 girls) but we were treated very badly. I do not recommend to go there.

The stupid fool on the door doesn't know how to act he turned me away for being "drunk" lol hahaha how when I came straight from work and he does to a lot of people he let white and mixed race girls in though and the guy that barged me now that white guy was actually drunk the doorman name is earnest

When we told him to stop and leave us alone, he shouted 'shut up, shut your mouth or I'll stab you' over and over. A pathetic piece of shit who grabs women on the street is most probably also cowardly enough to carry a weapon in a bid to feel secure, so understandably we felt our safety was at risk. A bouncer had watched the entire thing and then laughed and hugged the man in question, before walking away together. When I alerted a second bouncer, he was completely uninterested and told us it wasn't a problem. I can completely appreciate that three grown men will never understand the fear and anger a women feels when being harrassed by absolute strangers, however being told that I will be stabbed if I do not shut my mouth, when all we did was say that we did not want to be touched,

is something that I like to think everyone can empathise with and recognise as being completely unacceptable. I doubt that the two employees I spoke with even remember the incident, but if they should, I hope that these men feel some sort of shame for brushing it off and finding it funny, aswell as having absolutely no idea how to handle a situation I'm sure that has probably happened before and may happen again. Should any women go to them if they are being threatened, hopefully they take it as seriously as it should be taken. Being in a position of 'power' in that environment, they represent the club itself and who people look to for safety, but it's incredibly dissapointing that they didn't respect us enough to see how disgusting it was for this man to treat us like that - and god knows how many other women on the streets he's treated the same way.

Disgusted. We have booked the booth for friends birthday for 15 ppl. Instead we had a half of it just nearby the pathway to the toilets. Extremely hot and stinky basement. Not enough space to move around, not telling about space for dance, impossible! We have been moved to even smaller booth after all without any explanation, then we left. It's not the way to arange the booking. I'm deffinitely not coming back and I will not recommend it to anyone.

The worst place ever. The security guys were walking around and keep telling movie here, don't put your drinks here, don't stand here. We couldn't relax and enjoy our night out on Saturday. We were asked to pay entry fee £10.00 each (4 girls) but we were treated very badly. I do not recommend to go there.

The stupid fool on the door doesn't know how to act he turned me away for being "drunk" lol hahaha how when I came straight from work and he does to a lot of people he let white and mixed race girls in though and the guy that barged me now that white guy was actually drunk the doorman name is earnest

Terrible!!! I am sure that is a sample of Inferno! � there's no way you can even breath in that basement on a busy night.. I took longer to find my ID that was lost in my bag than I stood inside of the premises (less than 2min!)

After what had been a really good night inside for my birthday, myself and two friends were standing infront of Bar Rumba last night sorting out a taxi where we were repeatedly groped by a man in his twenties, presumably who had also been in the club. When we told him to stop and leave us alone, he shouted 'shut up, shut your mouth or I'll stab you' over and over. A pathetic piece of shit who grabs women on the street is most probably also cowardly enough to carry a weapon in a bid to feel secure, so understandably we felt our safety was at risk. A bouncer had watched the entire thing and then laughed and hugged the man in question, before walking away together. When I alerted a second bouncer, he was completely uninterested and told us it wasn't a problem. I can completely appreciate that three grown men will never understand the fear and anger a women feels when being harrassed by absolute strangers, however being told that I will be stabbed if I do not shut my mouth, when all we did was say that we did not want to be touched,

is something that I like to think everyone can empathise with and recognise as being completely unacceptable. I doubt that the two employees I spoke with even remember the incident, but if they should, I hope that these men feel some sort of shame for brushing it off and finding it funny, aswell as having absolutely no idea how to handle a situation I'm sure that has probably happened before and may happen again. Should any women go to them if they are being threatened, hopefully they take it as seriously as it should be taken. Being in a position of 'power' in that environment, they represent the club itself and who people look to for safety, but it's incredibly dissapointing that they didn't respect us enough to see how disgusting it was for this man to treat us like that - and god knows how many other women on the streets he's treated the same way.



So if you enjoy being sexually harrassed and threatened while grown men, apparently 'security', watch on and applaud, this is a perfect venue.

It could be good, I wouldn't know. Your doorman (Monday night) stopped me at the door proclaiming no single entry, I explained my friends were already inside so I called someone up. I asked if I was OK to be let in now, he still refused (meanwhile letting in people of his skin colour in the club!). If he had a valid reason fair enough, but he never. Obviously at this point it was pointless me saying anything because he already had his opinion, this is poor and he needs to be replaced. Not the attitude I expect from your staff

I went there with some friends,son as we got the my friends did have her I'd so she try to ring her brother to take a picture.why she was on the phone the man was rushing us say come on cause there was a cure but no one was be hide us,he was very rude.

Disgusted. We have booked the booth for friends birthday for 15 ppl. Instead we had a half of it just nearby the pathway to the toilets. Extremely hot and stinky basement. Not enough space to move around, not telling about space for dance, impossible! We have been moved to even smaller booth after all without any explanation, then we left. It's not the way to arange the booking. I'm deffinitely not coming back and I will not recommend it to anyone.

Me and a group of lads came for my friends stag do on sat 6th Feb. I can honestly say we weren't sure what to expect before coming as reading some negative reviews.



Now we have been it shows how wrong a lot of people are. The comedians were very good and current, the staff could not done any more for us and we're always making sure we were topped up with drinks and that we were having a good time. I know people have different experiences. If you read the negative ratings they all or most start with " we was having a good time until", so it shows they were having a good time until they got too drunk or was told no. I would definitely recommend made us feel very welcome.

First off, yes since the start of the year I have had a bad experience with bar rumba but as a company they're amazing at valuing their customers feedback, over the past couple of months I've seen changes at bar rumba that have moved their club from an 'OK' night to an amazing night!! They have refurbished the booth VIP seating areas and made sure the process of being seated and attended too is quick and the staff are always polite and well informed!!

I have noticed they have got new and more bouncers/security and, based on recent encounters are very professional and extremely friendly!

The drinks prices have gone up a little bit but it is worth it because the quality of drinks are amazing!

The music from the dj on a Friday night is amazing if you like rnb and even though there is lots of people he will do shout outs for special occasions.

Bar rumba is in the perfect location as for night busses to lots of areas are only a 10 minute walk away.

I would definitely recommend rumba to anyone looking for a an amazing night and disregard any of the previous negative reviews as for bar rumba has improved for the better!!

TigerTiger closed early and my friend and I got a stamp to come to the after party (Rumba) honestly I had an amazing time the music was just perfect, there was good vibes but the only thing that went wrong was how a bar member was rude to my friend like she waited to be served and whilst she was saying what she wanted the bar guy rudely moved on to someone else. Customer service is vital.

I would recommend this place ,I met some really cool people and the staff were friendly

Was here for my joint stag do with my fiancé and I was overly impressed. My best man wasn't aloud in because he was too drunk apparently but he went home so that we could enjoy the rest of our night, after all I did spend £150 on an area.

The place looked nothing like the photos and was a lot smaller than I thought.

£10 for a Bacardi and Coke is a lot of money and staff were rude.

Not going back again even though iv been offered a free area and fishbowl I don't feel like it's a good place to go

This place has gone to pot, used to be good laugh years ago, now you have to put up with pricks on the door and over priced watered down drinks.

Good comedy night. Cocktails watered down so ordered a double vodka in both mine and my friend's drink to make it up...really isn't cheap (and don't think you get what you pay for). I guess it's the centre of London so that's what you expect.

*Warning About the Guestlist* We had an email confirming we are on the guestlist however when we got to the door we were not on the printed list. Apparently we added ourselves to the list too late even though it does not state that anywhere on the website or on the confirmation email. This meant we were asked to pay entry. When I disputed this and pointed out that it was false advertising, I was very disappointed in the way the staff behaved. Instead of having a discussion and being apologetic for the "confusion" of when you can add yourself to guess list they got on a power trip and just refused entry. Really unprofessional. We went somewhere else for a dance where we had a really good night.

Worst eg of homophobia from the DJ last night - grabbed a guy by his neck and called him a transvestite when he requested a Ru Paul song. Then bouncers got their friends to leave by bringing it to management. It’s 2018, like wtf. Never going here again.
