About Basingstoke First Point Floating Support (You)

A free service to support people aged 16 - 64 years in the Basingstoke and Deane area with maintaining their homes and reducing the risk of homelessness.

Basingstoke First Point Floating Support (You) Description

First Point Floating Support can provide support to you in your own home or where you feel most comfortable. We support in the following areas:

- accessing and appealing welfare and benefit claims
- advice and assistance with daily living skills including budgeting and help with debts
- support in court with rent arrears issues
- supporting you to find more suitable accommodation
- helping you to access a range of services in your local community, including education, training, healthcare and leisure
- acting as an advocate on your behalf or linking in with other agencies for you (such as your landlord, Deaprtment of Work and Pensions, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council)

We can be available to support you between 8am and 8pm seven days a week.

We run a drop in facility at the following places:

The Orchard
Every Thursday between 10am and 2pm

At the Living Workshop at Jacobs House and at The Oakridge Hall for All alternate Fridays between 10am and 12noon.

And an appointment clinic at Basingstoke and Deane Council Offices
Every Monday between 9am and 1pm (please ask BDBC to book an appointment)

At The Camrose, alternate Tuesday lunchtimes.

At The Wellbeing Centre, every four weeks on Thursday lunchtimes.
