Wow it was mouthwatering food cooked by action packed chef with some acrobatics was a surprise to my guests, sea food was fresh and the lobsters were out of the world attention to detail was their service very warm well trained staff every one new their part Manager Azzad was spot on in advising us to go to Benihana it was a memorable dinner Thsnk you Grange Hotel St Paul's proving time and again that they are the best in town ... need I Say More ..

Went for my son 16 today loved it chef was chatting and let him have a go at cooking staff explained and fantastic food would definitely go back and recommend for any special occasion xxxx

This is by far, hands down, the best, most authentic Japanese restaurant I've ever been to in the Grange Hotel!

I booked a group of us to have dinner at Benihana the night before my wedding as an ice-breaker for my guests that had traveled into London from elsewhere. The Chef's were great. The food very good. Catered to a variety of dietary requirements.

Great entertainment and definitely a good experience. Food was nice and service was impressive.

Good food and friendly staff, great wine list with some excellent cocktails . Apple martini gets my vote. Friendly English speaking chefs with superb knife skill

I have been going to the grange and have eaten at benihana many times. My experience yesterday was very disappointing. The chef named Jordan was not very enthusiastic and seemed quite inexperienced. He did not particularly know what he was doing and the steak was over cooked. When we did not want mushrooms on our plate he was not considerate of this and all in all the chef made our experience boring and the food not up to scratch. I was very underwhelmed by my visit which has never been like this for me dining at any other benihana restaurants. Or even this one. I hope that this issue can be addressed.

Unbelievably poor beyond belief on so many levels. Avoid at all costs.

Awful and slow service. Food on half the table (there were 17 of us altogether) was over cooked. Steak medium rare = over cooked steak that I wouldn't even feed my dog. Tea was served cold. My cocktail was sitting on the bar for so long that it had split so I had to send back for a new one. My friend nearly had has eye burnt from a flame trick by the newbie chef who obviously didn't know what he was doing. Even after a number of complaints at the end of the night I had to get OUT OF MY chair to ask the manager to bring the card machine over for us to pay the bill. I don't expect free food, but the result of a night of bad service was one free alcoholic drink and no service charge. I wouldn't recommend this place. I sure wouldn't be coming back.

Absolutely terrible, went with my partner to have a meal and got seated on a table with 5 people we don’t know wasn’t even asked if we wanted a table alone when there was tables just as couples. Really hard to order a drink as they hardly understand you and took forever to then bring them. The people we were sat on a table with was so loud shouting and being rude. And the food was horrible and chewy wouldn’t recommend it to anyone never returning.
