I'm a private tutor & musician. I tutor for GCSE & A-level Sciences, Maths, and Music. Also a tuba player & conductor offering Brass Instrumental lessons.

I am a private tutor, and musician in the Sutton Coldfield /West Midlands area. I am currently studying Chemistry at Imperial College London. During my gap year last year, I volunteered at Plantsbrook School, supporting the Science and Music departments, hence I am fully CRB checked. I received the award for best GCSE results (7A*, 4A), and best AS results (5A and a D1), and best A2 results (3A* and an A) from Plantsbrook School. I am able to tutor for GCSE Maths, Chemistry, Music, and A-Level Chemistry and Music.

I am a grade 8 tuba player, currently working towards a performance diploma. I was principal tuba for the Birmingham Schools' Symphony Orchestra for 3 years and Brass Ensemble for 4 years, as well as playing EEb bass with the Birmingham Schools' Brass Band. During my time with the Brass Band I was given the opportunity to perform Rodney Newton's Capriccio for tuba and brass band at the Sutton Coldfield Town Hall. I was also lucky enough to be selected to perform the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto with the Sutton Coldfield Orchestra the same year. I have been principal tuba for the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain for 2 years, and will be auditioning for a 3rd term, with a tour to Switzerland. Through the Birmingham Music Service ensembles I have also toured to Belgium and Germany.

I am versatile player, with excellent sight reading ability, able to adapt and fit into any group. Within my school I performed as part of the Wind Band, Swing Band, Chamber Orchestra, Brass Ensemble, Brass Quintet, and Pit Orchestra. I have also been very lucky to perform as a guest player with many other groups, such as: Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra, Sutton Coldfield Orchestra, Solihull Symphony Orchestra, St Alphege Symphony Orchestra, Langley Brass Band, University of Birmingham Brass Band, Staffordshire Brass Band, Sutton Brass Ensemble, AD Concert Band, and the English Symphony Youth Orchestra.

I am also a conductor, having conducted my school's Wind Band, Brass Ensemble, and Chamber Ensemble. I have an ability to get the best playing out of all the performers, as a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail, and many years of ensemble experience. I have an excellent relationship with the players, and absolutely love being able to coach and guide them to excellent music making.

I also offer brass instrumental lessons, and coaching for small ensembles.
