Whilst parts of the site are looking a bit dated, it was a fun, relaxing day. The cafe had a good variety of dishes and the service was great. The wildfowl collection has many different species, the most notable not being a duck, but the Wood rail that run around the site. Some of the signage could be improved, I fortunately know many of the species but for general visitors it would be difficult to identify what they were looking at. It is great value though and we spent a lovely few hours there.

User

What a beautiful place ! My family and I had a wonderful day and my car mad teenage sons loved the motor museum but even more so the wild foul area which was vast and very beautiful. We also enjoyed the minature railway and the cafe which has a great choice of home cooked food. Priced at just £28 for a family of 4 is such great value and I would highly recommend this lovely place.

User

Superb. Went there yesterday for the first time with my cycling group Team Cake. Lucky to have such gorgeous weather so able to sit outside! Fabulous Cream Tea, home made risotto and mushroom and Garlic soup to name but a few on an extensive menu! Mostly home made dishes!

Plenty of room indoors...lovely gardens and museum. Plenty to do for kids including ponies and trains.

A must see and do.

User

Great place for a young family in need of a beautiful interesting and fun day out.

User

Great little place for a really nice woodland walk with all the wildfowl and feed them also. Gardens are very neglected which is a shame as am sure they once were amazing the house wasn't open either. Museum was good although my favourite car has gone the delorean loads to see. Fab little railway and also an adventure climbing experience for those with kids a little bit over 7yrs maybe. All in all a great day out. £9 per adult is a bit steep but hey...

User

Excellent staff, kind helpful with lots of knowledge. Wonderful breakfast and cake all set in a wonderful piece of the countryside.

You can have an adrenaline rush at Branching Out Adventures one side and then calm yourself down on the train ride around Bently followed up by some good food in pantry and chilli g in the gardens

User

Excellent day out. Can easily spend a whole day there. You can get the little train and get off at the wildfowl park or adventure playground (which looked fab for both teens and adults). Or just simply stay on the train (20 mins) and take in the donkeys etc on the way. Family friendly (with baby change etc) l. Food is homemade and was out of this world! Very friendly lady at reception. Only criticism was no baby swing in the children's playground but that's not serious as there was so much else to do and see (we weren't there for the park). Absolutely top day out and reasonably priced (£9 for adult).

User

Brilliant place up go. We took two 6 year olds and they loved it! The birds are lovely to walk around and see. The cafe was fab offering loads of choice. The grounds were lovely and looked well kept. The train was fun and the train driver and assistant were very knowledgable and helpful. Staff were friendly. Then the motor museum was great with lots of good information. With a quiz which kept the boys happy for over an hour, and reading lots of information. Gift shop was well stocked with some great goodies, and perfect for little gifts for children and adults alike! :)

User

Absolutely lovely day spent here on

Mothering Sunday! Met by such a warm and welcoming staff, who are obviously passionate about the place and were falling over themselves to help us have the perfect day. DEFINITELY a fair weather place to visit! So much to do, could easily spend a full day here. We saw the wetland ducks which were fab, rode on the minuture railway, are in the cafe which has decent food at reasonable cost. They also have other animals such as Shetland ponies and rabbits. We didn't even get round to seeing the gardens, house, or motor museum. They also have us a compass card discount as one of our party was registered disabled.

User

Absolutely great the staff are helpful friendly

N go out of there way to make your visit good

The food at the café is plain n simple but very good " in fact you would probably pay double and it would not be as good "

It is a small museum of motor vehicles but the few that are there are outstanding

Hope to get back later in the year to see more

Thanks to all the staff yesterday brill

User

A great few hours spent, lots of interesting birds and vintage cars and most delicious, well priced lunch I have had in a long time. Very tranquil surroundings. Would highly recommend a visit.

User

A fantastic day out with something for almost everybody. The lady on reception was friendly and helpful. The cafe was way above expectations. Delicious home cooked food at very reasonable prices. The motor museum was well laid out and contained some very interesting vehicles. The miniature railway is charming and the staff welcoming and friendly. The wildfowl area is really good and you get to see the birds in very natural surroundings. Plenty of open spaces and play equipment to keep the youngsters amused. All in all an excellent way to pass a day . Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

User

Well worth visiting. Lovely place with plenty of wildfowl to see flying and running round...even asleep on the footpaths.

The restaurant is nice and clean, food plentiful and good value for money. I had a Cream Tea later in the day and the scone was a bit dry but don't let that put you off.

Baked potatoes had plenty of filling and the potatoes themselves were baked to perfection.

The motor museum is splendid and a must for any car enthusiasts and even private owners brought their's in aswell.

The train crew and ride was great. House was closed on our visit and the gardens are in need of a bit of love...the flower beds.

Free parking, entrance fee acceptable, a craft shop and gift shop as long on site.

All staff very friendly and welcoming so as I say.

Well worth a visit.

User

We had a good time with our friends at Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum.we had our Miniature Steam Engines there over the Easter weekend all very nice.lovely food in the cafe . beautiful vintage cars all in fantastic building .great time the ducklings were so cute .all Wildfowl were amazing to see.thank you .

User

This is an oldtime favourite of mine. I've been visiting here on and off for over 25 years. We used to live locally and frequently brought our children for days out. It was nice re visiting after such a long time with some of my girlfriends (although it was on the hottest day of the year so far!!). Both of my fiends have mobility issues and were cock -a-hoop with the offer of free hire of the mobility scooters and had to be restrained from having races with each other! 😂

The cafe food was limited but of good quality but the chef went out of their way to cook something not on the menu for my friend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be revisiting later on in the year

User

Lovely wildlife area and a nice selection of vintage cars and other vehicles, the only poor part was the cafe, it wasnt a particularly busy day but the wait for food was unacceptable. The cafe needs a bigger staff and a bigger kitchen area. The outside tables were not cleaned of previous food, probably because of lack of staff. So please go its a very nice day out. Take a picnic

User

3rd visit this year here with my 3yr old son this year. Staff very friendly. The train is great, the play area basic but my son loved it. We went to the wood craft show and used a free mobility scooter for my Dad. Great for a day out. The only reason no 5th star was the willow maze, primitive structures in the woods and wildfowl over grown and not maintained. Also signs for each bird enclosure not even close to the birds inside. We will go back again but now my son has to pay, not as much. More marketing/advertising of events would help as well.

User

Had a nice day out for an Abarth car club meet

Started off with a bit big food which was home made & really good .their weren't a lot of staff around at all but those we met where really friendly .the car museum altho pretty small & short in timing to get round was pretty good

The wild fowl part was really good and covered a lot of ground.found the garden part pretty poor and almost unkept

overall tho a nice day out

User

Do not think it is worth the money they charge for a family. What is there is good but not really more than a couple of hours worth and that's only if a nice day weatherwise!! Also we were not told the house was closed this should of been reflected in the entrance fee or at least a courtesy info update when entering!

Lovely wildlife area and a nice selection of vintage cars and other vehicles, the only poor part was the cafe, it wasnt a particularly busy day but the wait for food was unacceptable. The cafe needs a bigger staff and a bigger kitchen area. The outside tables were not cleaned of previous food, probably because of lack of staff. So please go its a very nice day out. Take a picnic

Do not think it is worth the money they charge for a family. What is there is good but not really more than a couple of hours worth and that's only if a nice day weatherwise!! Also we were not told the house was closed this should of been reflected in the entrance fee or at least a courtesy info update when entering!
